Best Puerto Rican food around located 5839 highway 54 Newport Richey. Give it a try you will not be disappointed.
This place is very good they have amazing authentic Puerto Rican food and they also have it at good prices. The food was wonderful and I will definitely go there again and I definitely recommend this for people who want to eat Puerto Rican food that is fresh. The waitress was very nice and polite and did a wonderful job.
Being a native from Puerto Rico, a traveling musician and an avid foodie, my criticism of Puerto Rican restaurants is extremely harsh. This place is BY FAR one of the best that I have ever tasted! Everything is fresh, crispy, juicy, and excitingly presented!
The mofongo was out of this world, the rice and chickpeas (arroz con gandules) were amazing and the moist, the sandwiches were crispy and juicy on the inside. All of the ingredients tasted fresh and never frozen. The alcapurrias, which usually are underwhelming, were TOP NOTCH!!!
Love the decor and the ambient music. The only thing I could criticize about this place is the lighting, very difficult to see the beautiful dishes.
Went there with my husband for the first time to try it because I saw so many good reviews and we were not disappointed. Our food came out perfect that “Trifongo” was so tasty. We order an “Empanadilla de pionono” and wow we loved it for us it was the first time trying that. I have to mention that we are from Puerto Rico so our expectations are very high when it comes to puertorican food. The service for us was very good since when we got there the restaurant was empty but I noticed that when more people started to arrive the server was in a rush and wasn’t able to give the same level of service to the other people there. One family left after waiting to be greeted at their table for a couple of minutes.
In conclusion it’s a good restaurant, good prices (I read that someone found it expensive), kind staff, nice ambience and tasty puertorican food.
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! I had the lunch special which included rice and beans or rice and peas and then when she gave me the bill she literally charged me an extra $2.49 for the rice and beans and when I told her no this was included in the lunch special and i showed her on the menu she literally said to me in perfect English…… Sorry I don’t speak English!!!!! oh, and by the way, the tip was included on the bill as a “service charge” without my prior authorization. It’s a good thing I didn’t tip her anyways! Multiple Red Flags!!!!!
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!

Gracie Martial Arts Tampa, led by Emiliano, is an exceptional place to learn the original and modern forms of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. Having had the opportunity to compare it with other noteworthy schools, I found that this one particularly appeals to me.
Great BJJ school for the whole family! Professor Rafael is a great instructor. Every time I come visit the school to train the staff and members are very welcoming and friendly. I encourage anyone who wants to learn BJJ to stop by and check it out. P
