Saloon of Mt. Lebanon - American restaurant in Pittsburgh - 622 Washington Rd, USA

First off, I was greeted by Tony, the bartender very nice guy . The food was done to my specific request. Filet bites seemed a bit high priced until I saw it was a whole steak. The wings were perfect, and the hot-garlic sauce was very good. Fries were standard, but I'm used to fresh cut. Parking, traffic and drivers in Mt. Leb is terrible and rude.

We were staying at the hotel across the street and popped in for a drink and a bite. The Saloon is exactly what you expect--the epitome of the local neighborhood watering hole. They have a large selection of local beers on tap and a pretty standard selection of burgers, sandwiches, salads, and appetizers. I got a mushroom and Swiss burger cooked medium rare and it was great, cooked exactly as ordered and it hit the spot. I started with a whiskey cocktail. I didn't have high expectations but I was very pleasantly surprised that the Paper Plane was balanced and something is definitely order again. The atmosphere is very relaxed and I like that the entire front of the restaurant is open to the outside. Lots of big TV's to catch whatever sports ball game happens to be on, and we found it pretty easy to strike up a conversation with the people around us. I won't hesitate to go back if I'm in the area again.

A classic. Wings are the best. It is where I learned about Tequila! Parties on the deck are great. A well executed car bomb. Thank you Saloon team for your hospitality, place and doing the things you do so well!

Good bar/restaurant in uptown area of mt lebo. Good draft beer selection and good food. Been here about 5 times, and the wife and I have never had anything we didn't like. Burgers and the pub pizza are solid. Always good service. Going 3 starts here bc it is what it is, just an average bar with decent viddles.

The Saloon is a great low key bar-restaurant. It has a great beer selection and there are many televisions to watch any sporting event.

The decor and atmosphere partnered with the excellent service and deep draft list make up for the mediocre food. Solid 3.5/5. Great place to get beers and drinks with friends.

Nice place to grab a bite. Try to avoid Friday football nights. It's ultra crowded but empties out rather quickly. Good beer selection. Can see folks from your high school class each night. Kinda the go-to for folks still in town.
