I am a family and wedding photographer based out of Grants Pass, OR that traveled for a wedding at this location. It was one of the best experiences in working with venues! The staff was incredibly helpful and even drove me and the bride and groom around the property for portraits. The set up was perfect with a patio area for the ceremony and a covered, indoor area for the reception. I highly recommend this as a great wedding venue!

Secluded and beautiful golf course! Went on a Wednesday afternoon and pretty much had the place to ourselves. Very friendly staff, helpful range finder booklet in addition to the scorecard. Unless you’re able to very reliably shoot straight, plan to lose a lot of golf balls! Many very narrow fairways, especially off the tee box. And after a few feet of rough it just disappears in very thick brush or trees. I did not find a single errant shot that went out of bounds. Hard to overstate the natural beauty of the course setting. You cross over a creek probably a dozen times, surrounded by hills and trees, and we even saw a few deer during our play!

Beautiful course surroundedby nature and occasional wild life (deer, birds) to spot, tricky to play, well maintained greens, Super friendly and helpful staff. A must to explore when you're an avid golfer and in for a challenge.

I hadn't been to the course in a few years. After starting a family and everything else that comes with it, I hadn't had much free time to golf. With 2 young rambunctious boys, (3 years apart, the oldest is 12 now) getting them to realize the way to act at a golf course is a "lilttle" different than the way you act at say, a football stadium. A trip to the grocery store with both of MY 2 little guys, proved on more than one occasion, that they don't know when or where is a good time or place to have a wrestling match. I didnt want the "dairy aisle" incident to come back on the 5th green! Sooo day trips for a round of golf were going to have to wait until they were a bit older and understood the difference between a golf course and monster truck rally! As summer now approaches, my boys are 9 & 12, and myself wanting to start playing a little golf again, I thought maybe we should try it out. So on a sunny Sunday afternoon around 430ish we loaded some clubs in the car and headed for a "test run" at Salmon Run driving range. We got a couple buckets of balls from the more than helpful club house employee, who said with a chuckle, if it went OK he would like to see us again; maybe for a round instead of just the range. I have to say, I was pretty impressed, the "dairy aisle" didn't return, my boys had a blast, and most of all said they wanted to come back and do it again. I thought this had a lot of upside, health wise, attitude wise, relationship wise, to name a few. So I decided we would return and see how we fared out on the course with other golfers near by and build on that. That was all that my wife and I heard about for the next few weeks. Are we going golfing today? Can we go hit some balls? Are we getting a cart? C'mom dad, its not dark yet! We went back 2 weeks later on a Wednesday afternoon. Checked inand cart loaded, the 3 of us headed off to play our first 9 holes of golf together. The sun was out and warm. The birds chirping, the beauty of Salmon run, all made for an amazing day. I love this place. It's beautifully kept. Green grass, nicely mowed. The friendly and knowledgeable staff all make for a great outing. We have been, and will continue to play golf here. It's challenging and sometimes a bit frustrating, (we loose quit a few golf balls) but, maybe that's a lesson in patience also. We can all use a bit more patience in this fast paced world we live in. And what better way to do it than rite here at beautiful Salmon Run Golf Course.

Hidden golfing treasure of Southern Oregon coast. Creative course routing of holes thru the forested hills. Traditional style target golf with tricky to read greens. Service with a smile. There is a warmup range but not full length. NOTES: many tee boxes were not level & shaggy so they need work. Some areas r over watered some r not enuf BUT bottomline I wouldn't hesitate to make the drive from silicon valley again!!!

Beautiful setting, challenging course. Staff is friendly and helpful. Maintenance could be better but generally it's ok. Rates are very reasonable. Weather is fantastic!

Wonderful course located just a few miles from Brookings. Loved the service, brand new carts and the forest setting. Course really rewards distance control and aim. Target golf at its finest.

Two outta town buddies and I went golfing at Salmon Run and had a blast. The course was beautiful with some stunning natural river features. These also made for a tactically challenging course where shots took a bit of forethought instead of just always letting er’ rip. The well written course guide helped a bunch. Rental clubs were top notch, near brand new at the time. Cherry on the top was the super friendly and helpful staff. They are knowledgeable about the course, the area in general, and you could tell they took pride in what they do. One of the best all around golf experiences I’ve had.

Made multiple stops throughout the park and thoroughly enjoyed each one of them. Some have moderate hikes so be mindful of what you’re getting yourself into. What goes down must come back up. We can’t wait to come back and see more!
