I had a really nice bike ride through here today. The landscape was beautiful. The bike path has some bumpy spots but it's mostly a smooth flat ride. I saw several Great blue heron and lots of ducks, including wood ducks. I sat down on a bench near the pond and a bunch of ducks came up on shore while I was eating my snack. This place is a treasure.
This place is absolutely beautiful! It is a 3.1 mile one way trail overflowing with mature nature and abundant wildlife! It includes forests, creeks, meadows, and ponds. If you have not been here, you definitely want to check it out. Seriously, don't miss this Salmon Creek gem! There is so much exploring to be done here. Do venture off the main paved trail if you are on foot. I saw turtles, ducks, an array of birds, rabbits and squirrels galore, and I even saw deer! That was like the cherry on top! It made my hike complete 😊
It’s so nice parking and being away from the highway in less than five minutes. My dogs love playing down by the water when it’s warm, it’s very peaceful and frequently visited by our family.
After a heavy breakfast it was a nice morning for a walk. Several trail heads to connect with the paved Salmon Creek trail. Along with the woodlands and sport fields, I noticed a disk golf course. None of the holes were near the creek though which would have made for a nice water hazard.
A great paved trail to walk or ride your bike on. Lots of benches to sit on and areas for a picnic. Plenty of room for dogs to run around. This trail is easy enough for all ages to walk because it’s mainly flat. It goes to Kline Line park.
