As a local, I’m in love with this place! They have a great breakfast, lunch, and coffee/drinks menu with something for everyone as well as four specials they rotate at the beginning of every month. Some of my most memorable breakfasts have been specials from their menu! Their pastry case always has a couple types of scones, giant cookies, loaves and croissants. The food pricing is sometimes a little higher than I would like, but it’s worth it to me. The vibe is cozy, great natural lighting and varied seating (tables for bigger groups, cushioned bench seating, four person tables, and a couple cozy chairs). They also have great outside seating options around the building. The team there is so great, friendly, and accommodating. Highly recommend!

I have not had a good waffle since I went gluten free 20 years ago. Sally Loo's Gluten free waffle is not only good, it's a culinary masterpiece, a piece of art to be consumed and enjoyed. The raw cappuccino was awesome, too. I would come back to San Luis Obisbo just for the sole purpose of eating here.

New to me place. The coffee is amazingly good. The one pictured is a rosemary mint cappuccino. Super smooth and velvety. Just enough flavors of rosemary and mint that they both play with the smooth coffee wonderfully. The burrito is the loco moco burrito. A super tasty and unique take on traditional loco moco. Here is the most important part, as we were walking in we noticed GIANT Blackberries and a sign acknowledging the local farmers supplying the restaurant. Theses guys had a line from the time we entered to the time we left. Amazingly there were never anyone waiting for food and beverages, everything just flowed. You could tell that the staff really wanted to be there and enjoyed what they do. This will be in the rotation and I highly recommend giving them a try.

A local gem! This has got to be the best kept secret in SLO! I’m super picky when it comes to egg dishes and the ‘99 Poblano’ hit the spot. Let’s talk about the quiche - yummmm…flaky crust, melt in your mouth filling. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. See you soon, Sally Loo🥰

A friend who grew up in the area recommended we stop here while on vacation. This was one of the best vacation breakfasts I've ever had. The food here is everything I desire in a meal. Staples of breakfast with just a little extra. The quality of the food really speaks for itself. The drinks here are also spectacular. I will make sure to stop here again on my next visit.

Wow. Will definitely be coming back here as often as possible. It's such a great spot that there's always people here, so maybe get there early if you want the best seating. Even though they had just enough seating, you could tell they're usually packed because the food is so good! The scone was amazing. Also get there early because they can run out of food-- even though the food left is still amazing. Next time I go I want to try the bread pudding as it must have been so good they ran out of it by noon!

The best cafe in SLO! The largely locally-source farm-fresh food is high quality. The weekly specials and coffee never disappoint. The pastries (including the gluten-free, vegan donuts) are the best in town! Walking to Sally's is one of our favorite weekend treats. The owners and staff are exceptional people.

I looked this place up before we came to town for a trip and was determined to get a gluten-free breakfast burrito before we left. It was 100% worth the hype (I got the loco moco and it was super saucy and flavorful) and my husband really enjoyed the quiche and salad. The coffee was also top-notch and the staff was super nice when my husband mis-ordered for me and had to correct it while they were cooking. Will definitely come back if we're in town again.
