Salisbury Inn Motel - Motel in Salisbury - 141 Beach Rd, USA

I stayed at the inn.it was very clean, I had no complaints..management staff was excellent. Highly recommended this place..Definitely going back soon.

Very pleasant experience at this hotel. Went for my daughter's birthday weekend to Salisbury beach and Hampton beach and this place is close to both. The rooms are beautiful. We were lucky to have a JACUZZI room and my daughter was in heaven for her 11th birthday. Plan on returning next year!

We stopped here looking for a room. The lady at the window (owner?) was very rude. She would not let us see the room and told me to look at pictures online and slammed the window closed. After looking online I found 5 horrible reviews including their dogs barking all night and bed bugs. I went back in to show the lady the reviews but this time a different lady answered the window (her daughter? Mid 50s) I told her my experience with the last lady and then showed her the reviews. She showed us a room but didnt seem to happy about it. I explained we wont spend $160 a night without seeing the room... the room looked ok, had a bit of a smell but didnt look too bad. Again this lady gave us a bit of an attitude and I told her we'd talk it over. We decided we didnt feel comfortable staying there. We ended up finding a better place walking distance to the beach for $30 a night cheaper... brownies at hampton beach.

WARNING PLEASEE READ !!!!!!!!!!! Do Not Book With this Motel!!!!!!!!!! I don’t recommend This Motel to ANYONE ! My Wife and I stayed here for a night….. not Knowing they Were infested with bedbugs … We had to book another motel around the area until the Morning so we can try &’ Get our refund back’ they DO NOT OFFER REFUND - no matter the cause …. I have video proof of these bedbugs they refuse to watch them and said my wife &’ had Carried them here …

If I could give this place no stars, I would! When my boyfriend and I went to go check into the motel, the old lady behind the window was incredibly rude, and was discriminating me for having my service dog with us. When we finally convinced her it WAS us that called to make the reservation, and told her that she cannot be discriminating my service dog under ADA law since he is NOT a pet, we were sent to room 10. This was the *worst* motel room I have ever been in. It smelled disgusting, the sheets on the bed weren't clean, there was dead bugs everywhere, and the toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in several months, maybe up to a year or so! Not only this but there was no batteries in the television controller, like seriously? The total disgust that I felt towards this room gave myself, my boyfriend and even my dog anxiety! My boyfriend went to the office and demanded to have the room cleaned or to have our $386 dollars back (yes, we were paying that much for just a one week stay!), and the same old lady told us there would be another charge to clean the room. We told her it should have been cleaned before we showed up, and she continuously argued with the both of us and even threatened to call the police when we asked for our money back! We eventually got it back without police getting involved, after about half an hour later just because of her and I yelling at each other back and forth; my poor service dog had to work so hard to calm me down after that. I don't care how desperate you are, DO NOT go here! I don't want anyone else to go through all that I went through because of that old lady! Nobody deserves to have to pay that much money for such a small, disgusting place.||||All of this just happened on July 18th, 2016.

7/6/21 @ 4:59 pm I just called to make a weekend reservation for available room posted on the Salem news paper and the person who answered the phone hanged up as soon as she hear my voice and when I called back the second time she claimed not to hear me and the third time she actually told me the room were too “expensive” for me when she hear my accent; “ is $95 plus tax / night... and later stated that she had “no vacancy” after I asked her to clarify the $200/week price posted on the newspaper ! Unbeilable this happens in today’s Age..!

I couldn't even get through the reservation process. As directed on their website I contacted the Inn via email for rates. I requested a single Sunday Evening in July with 2 double beds. Quote came back at $90.00 - I asked via return email what was needed to make reservation and was asked again what night, for how long and what size room. I re-confirmed Sunday night - one night only, 2 beds. I was told $50 deposit. I then called to give credit card # and the phone was answered by a man who handed the phone off to a woman. The woman stated the man made a mistake and the rate was 150.00 - I told her I had it in writing at 90.00, she covered the phone and said to the man "you told her 90.00? it's 150.00" She came back to me and said it's 150.00. I advised her I can get a room on a Sunday Beachfront at that rate. (their place is about a mile from the beach) She didn't seem to care. I said my goodbyes called a beachfront motel and got a room for the same 150.00 and that motel manager says Sunday nights are much slower nights and they usually have openings even in peak season.

For the price the room was fine. The room was clean but smelt of cigarettes. The heat was not working and the room generally needed repairs. Some rooms are larger and updated without any additional cost for a better room. The staff is unaccomidationg about fixing the heat. I would still return because the price is fit to the rooms value.
