Amazing little place. We stayed in one of the cabins with a fireplace. It was very clean and warmed up really well in the cold weather. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. For being right off the road there wasn't too much road noise the several times I let the dog out. Could have been because of the snow storm too though. Overall highly recommended
We checked in and my partner was having a reaction to something in the room. The folks at the front desk immediately changed our rooms to one of the cottages. It was fantastic customer service and the cottage was awesome.
The Salida Inn was so cute and perfect for our weekend getaway! The hotel was clean, redone and had all the basic features. My husband I both enjoyed our stay and recommend to anyone looking for an affordable hotel with so many food and entertainment options just down the road.
We stayed here one night while passing through the area. Our room looked like it had not been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. Windows were dirty, cobwebs & dust in the corners and along the heater. I don't understand all the positive reviews on this website. The bed was comfortable but the place just wasn't clean.||Also: (and I read about this happening here to someone else on a Google review board)... At 8:30 the next morning, I was in the shower and my husband was starting to load the car so our deadbolt was not locked from the inside. He looked up from the parking lot to see a man (presumably housekeeping) opening our door. I did not hear the guy announce himself, but, again, I was IN THE SHOWER. Luckily my husband was able to call him back before he entered the room. It was 8:30 in the morning. Checkout is at 10:00. When we left the room at 9:30 or so, the man was standing outside our door waiting for us to leave. Pretty disturbing.||No, I would not stay here again. Keep driving. I gave it two stars because the front staff is very pleasant.
Love this hotel! There are so many options for rooms if you just want a regular room for the night or a suite if you're staying a weekend or even a cottage that's away from the rooms they're all so nice and very comfy! Also big plus so affordable
Older but well maintained property. Check in was fast and efficient. Our room was clean and huge! Bed was firm and sheets and towels were high quality. We had a broken chair in the room, but staff removed it quickly after they were informed. Overall, I was very impressed with everything during our visit from the quiet surroundings to the substantial continental breakfast. Very nice property and we will visit again. Thank you to the excellent staff.
It's ok, but not super clean. It's an older place, but felt very comfy, like I was in my living room. The walls are very thin, could hear the neighbors, havent encountered that for a long time, but maybe because it's an old building. Also the pillows were very lumpy! The breakfast was very limited!! Also the yogurt was outdated by 3 weeks!! It was a great price rate, but I wouldn't stay here again.
Salida has terrible lodging all around. This place is meh at best but compared to the other places in town it's the Taj Mahal. Front desk worker was polite and friendly. We left early and didn't get to try to breakfast. The room appeared to be remodeled to an extent but there were still some older vanities, mostly in the bathroom. I honestly never feel clean in a hotel but this one was acceptable. Price was absurd, > $250/night. If I happen to be back in town and I couldn't find anything else I would stay here again.

Excellent experience! The customer service was great and accommodating. It definitely felt like a quaint mountain lodge, which I loved. Great room rate, too. For what I paid, I'd definitely recommend it over a run-of-the-mill chain inn.

We stayed this past weekend just for a quick getaway. It was like stepping back in time. The rooms are very clean, the pool was nice and warm, the hot tubs were great also. We were able to check in early. My son accidentally left his favorite stuf
The kids and I have been staying here for ski trips to Monarch since 2019 - long enough that we've established traditions like playing board games or Uno in the room before we turn in for the night.

Everything was great. Usually I don't love comfort inns, but the staff here was professional and nice. The breakfast was good and well stocked. The rooms were clean. My expectations were exceeded.

Wonderful coffee shop! We stopped in with our 2 kids on the way from crested butte to Denver. They kindly made the kids grilled cheeses (off menu!). Coffee was excellent, and a nice selection of books and toys.
The entire staff is fun and super helpful. Also, if thereâs a shoe you want thatâs not carried, Andrew will order it for you to try on! Excellent range of trail running shoes and fuel - ultra runners work here to give you great advice about shoes

Their food truck passed through grand junction, was absolutely amazing. We got the tenders and the Philly, both fantastic. The tenders had the perfect skin, was amazing with bbq sauce. The Philly was HUGE, had to use fork n knife and was delicious. W
Much better than going to a coffee shop right in down town. Thereâs lots of space to sit and chill or do some work if you need. We were passing through waiting for our truck to be fixed and this was the perfect spot! They are quick and the coffees
This is one of my favorite breakfast/brunch places in town. They have delicious waffles and coffee, and I always love to come with friends. The staff are very friendly and it has a cool modern vibe, with fun, tasty twists on typical brunch meals. Wou
We absolutely loved our stay here. The cabins are beautiful, clean, and smelled good. The bed was so huge and comfy, loved the private hot tub and community area outside the cabin too. It was a perfect romantic getaway for our anniversary. Cannot rec
