Sakura Sushi & Steak & Hot Pot - Conveyor belt sushi restaurant in San Marcos - 117 Meiners St, USA

I've been coming to this place for a bit now, and they recently renovated. The food was already great, but the atmosphere had drastically improved! I really like what they're doing with the place. The food is always great too! A good selection of food, including lots of options if you don't like raw fish. The all you can eat sushi conveyor is a great deal as well. When you order hot dishes, they come out super fresh since they are made to order. And the sushi rolls are always made very nicely. Also, I know they have a good drink selection. I can't vouch for the quality since I have yet to get one, but they have margarita towers of different sizes and deals on flights of drinks. I have yet to try the hot pot, but they have a new area for fresh veggies to select from for your hot pot. Very attentive staff as well! Overall, it's just a really good place that more people need to visit. Every time we bring someone, they get hooked.

This is a cute Daye night spot. It's also has a girl's night atmosphere. The cherry blossom trees gives it that cool vibe. The sushi was great, we had our fill. I love that it comes with salad and veggies. The during the week special is great at $14.99. We pay so much more in SA or Austin. The staff was very nice.

Good value for your money - all you can eat sushi train restaurant. Great service and the interior has been remodeled. It has a nice lively atmosphere. Love the pink chairs!

Wonderful atmosphere and service. Menu is amazingly priced with a lot of variety and priced affordable. Def recommend the lunch menu and the peach sake!

For an all-you-can-eat revolving sushi bar, the price was amazing at $19.99 per person. It aslo came with a huge selection of soups and sides like edemame, gyoza and fried rice. The quality of food was ok, but not the best I've had. On the menu there was an amazing selection of sushi rolls, but the rolls that came out on the sushi train were very limited, I felt like the same things were coming out instead of the wide selection on the menu. The sushi options were pretty basic and very similar to the next, but everything was very tasty. If you wanted nigiri or shashimi you had to order with the waiter and it would cost you extra so we kept with what was on the train. Our server was extremely pleasant and attentive, hands down service was 5 stars. I would like to try them again for hot pot and give the sushi train another try, hopefully there will be a better selection next time.

The environment is comfortable and pleasant, and the decoration is modern and elegant, creating a very warm dining atmosphere. Their steak selection is extensive, so no matter what flavor you prefer, you'll find something you like here.

Sakura will be one of our new places to frequent! I LOVED the sushi train. It did seem like crab was in the majority of the rolls, but they were all still so good. The boba was delicious!! I feel like they're prices were very reasonable. Really glad my friend told me about this place!

Sakura is tucked away in San Marcos off CM Allen Pkwy Delicious and a favorite lunch dig of mine. The staff are friendly but will try to seat you on the front if you are a single diner. They offer hot pot and Hibachi. And best of all a made to order ALL YOU CAN EAT LUNCH! What can I say about the food??? Usually an all you can eat experience one will be disappointed but not at SAKURA!. I chose the Pork and Soy with steamed rice and a Wok Fried chicken noodle. Both were savory and tender I wish I could eat more but the servings were perfectly balanced and leave one feeling satisfied. Adding some Nigiri Salmon and Red Sox Roll Raw salmon on top of a spicy tuna and cucumber roll. The sushi was top notch and rolled from fresh ingredients. I do not pass out a Five Star rating ever... SAKURA you earned FIVE STARS for both STAFF and FOOD. Impossible to dine Anywhere in Austin with this caliber of service and food THANK YOU. Temperature of facility is welcoming and the music gives the feel of dining in an upscale eatery in New York . The Atmosphere I again give FIVE STARS. Check out the pics modern Asian almost like hanging in Tokyo . I give them 4 stars over all as there was some filmy grease on the tables from poor bussing and turnover.
