Sakura Japanese Restaurant - Japanese restaurant in Winchester - 910 Main St, USA

My family has been going to Sakura for nearly 10 years now and it NEVER disappoints. The sushi is always fresh, the deluxe rolls are creative and overall there is way more variety than any other AYCE sushi place in MA. The sashimi portions can be smaller than normal but we just order more to make up for it lol!

This is the worst Japanese restaurant I have ever been to. The agedashi tofu came in thin slices in pure soy sauce. No mirin, no scallion, no coating. Calling it by the name agedashi tofu is completely deceptive. The rice was not sushi rice but instead a starchier short grain rice. Very odd The tempura was extremely greasy. I suspect it was pre frozen and fried not at the correct temperature. The karaage was breaded and over fried. It did not have any ginger or garlic flavors and was more akin to Katsu. Quality exceptionally poor. Avoid at all costs.

What a gem of a spot. Great service and can't beat the price for such good quality food.

Sakura is my favorite sushi place. They have amazing prices for all you can eat sushi and the service was very good. They always took our requests promptly for more sushi and even delivered the first round of sushi on a sushi boat. P.S. photos are from multiple visits at Sakura.

All you can eat sushi made to order! We frequent this place every month and it is our goto place for our quick sushi fix.

Tried this place one time few months back it was definitely a bit surprising to me as I expected to be more of a Chinese style sushi restaurant I didn’t know that all they had was only Japanese style things mostly sushi and not really all that much of it I believe I ordered some kind of chicken style plates a few teriyaki things as well and I think a pork fried rice while everything was good I didn’t find the portions to be really all that much I had to re order again the same items to get myself full and satisfied it was worth it though just not really what I’m used to also I have not set foot into this business since it was the Old Fen Yang House Chinese Restaurant which is now closed and out of business it’s also much smaller egged since they took over and reopened to Sakura I may try this place again since I only live 10 mins away I didn’t hate it it was not bad just have to get used to I guess if I really want a different style of Japanese food

This place is underrated. The quality of all-you-can-eat sushi is well above average. Yes, the pricing is above average but it makes up in quality. I recommend. Also, the place is small so if you are taking a big crowd, I would call ahead to make a reservation.
