Found a piece of plastic in my lo mein. I spoke to to mgr and he said it came off the pack of noodles while opening and no big deal. He said mistakes happen in restaurants all the time and it was "no big deal". I let him know it would have been a huge deal had I chipped a tooth or choked. We continued the meal ( after making sure there were no other foreign inedible objects present). We got to the register where my fiance leaned in and informed the manager about customer service and the lack of refills on our drinks after plastic was found in my food. The manager then stated "we see your review". That's right everyone i reviewed them while I was still in the restaurant. The manager was so unbothered and lacked compassion when someone could have gotten hurt and I couldn't wait to tell you all! To sum it up our drinks stopped because of me telling the truth. After telling me "no big deal" he did give 7.00 off the meal. It should have been free for 1 considering the circumstances and the food's lack of freshness, but it wasn't. I wasn't expecting a 5 star restaurant, just some quick Chinese after walking around Tanger looking for deals. They didn't own up to their error. Be safe, eat slow, check your food, and have a great day.
I don’t know which was better, the service from our amazing waitress, or the food!! Their prices were just as amazing too!!! I recommend their lunch buffet to any and everyone looking for some superb Chinese food :)
The dinner buffet has a really good selection. I've been here twice, (dine-in & take out). Dine-in our server was a male and he was attentive (refills), plate removal so well deserving of his tip. I love mussels and they had some on ice & cooked but I wasn't feeling them. But most of the other seafood selections were good. Oh we enjoy the sushi bar very nice selection. Haven't tried the hibachi grill but they have that also. Take-out (for 2) I think it was like $9lb and I had 3 containers & an apple juice - spent about $33 /$34 which is reasonable. Both times I went there was no line or overcrowding. However I don't care to be rushed by the guy in the front when paying. He's not welcoming coming. Food is good but I'm on the fence about going back because of the guy in the front.
I’m sorry to say it, don’t waste your time. The food was barley lukewarm. The greeter, rushed us to our seats and took our drink orders hastily. The atmosphere was depressing and the food was mostly dried out and flavorless. The best thing we had was the sweet tea. The restrooms were filthy and I was not so crazy about them barley receiving a B on their Inspection at 80 points,/ which I only noticed heading out.
NEW UPDATE- 11/3/2023 The ladies who serve us are always sweet and friendly. I have added an updated menu with prices. I think prices are still the same as the last time I posted an update. Dinner starts at 3:30. We paid $15.99 per adult. UPDATED- JULY 2023- Slight price increase and new pictures added. EDITED 3/1/2023- Prices are still the same as the last pictures I posted. Our waiter was great and the food was good and plentiful. We went around lunchtime. The Hibachi grill is available during lunch. EDITED 1/9/2023- I added pictures of the updated prices. Lunch is now $1 more at $10.99 for adults and $4.25 for kids 3 and up. Dinner is now $ 15.99 for adults and $6.35 for kids 3 and up. Kids 3 and under are free. Some prices have been blacked out, so you would have to call the restaurant to see what that means. The gentleman up front (the one that seated us) wasn't friendly, but as always, everyone else, including our waitress, was nice. The food was also good. Love the Hibachi. EDITED 7/20/2022- I have added pictures of their recent takeout menu and prices (including buffet prices). The service is great, the selection is great, the food tastes great, the Hibachi is my favorite, and the gentlemen cooks it exactly the way I love every single time. The servers and hostesses have always been nice and friendly. We've gone during dinner time which is $14.99 per adult after 3 pm if I remember correctly. Children 3 and up also have to pay. We have loved it every time we've dined in. Keep up the good work!
Its a great place with variety of buffet food items but I strongly recommend weekends when there is a max flow of customers and special care is given to freshness of food with regular staff. Week days are slow therefore you wont see regular quick replenishment of buffet items with regular cook. Therefore to enjoy your best buffet, go on weekends.
Charged me 9.25 for less than a lb of seafood. It suppose to be 7.99 for dinner seafood. These guys are charging more. Do not carryout. I hate people that are theives. Just set your price higher. Very arrogant in their attitude.
This place used to be okay, but this visit was gross. The tongs you use to serve yourself from the buffet are filthy, and a pair on the sushi bar even had someone’s hair on them. Before we noticed that, we had food from the hibachi area and it wasn’t fresh at all.
