Sakura Grill - Japanese restaurant in Mebane - 1327 Mebane Oaks Rd, USA

This place is a gem- I remembered I needed to write a review today when I was craving their noodles! We stopped in about a week ago after the stopping by the outlet. First of all, the service is incredible! Isaac is one of the nicest people I've ever met and he is just happy to see you and talk so please match his energy when you go, it's hard not to. Secondly, the food is pretty good. The portions are generous and I had enough for the next day. You could easily share each meal between two people. Prices are very fair for what you're getting. It's also very clean and none of the tables had food all over them. I saw someone wipe them down after each table was cleared. Bonus points for cleanliness! Food on its own gets 4 stars but the customer service here gets 5+ (yes, it's that amazing). Try them out!

The poke bowl itself I would give five stars, though he went too heavy on the eel sauce so the rice at the bottom ended up soaked in it. Dine-in atmosphere was rather unpleasant due to rapidly pulsing lights (somewhat visible in my video) and news/commercials playing on the TV... fixing those lights and putting some nice music on without ads would make dining in an attractive option.

The price is amazing, and the portions are very large. The white sauce is fantastic too. The problem is the streak and chicken is always way overcooked. The spring rolls aren't good either. They taste like frozen ones they dropped in the fryer. We mostly just get vegetables hibachi or teriyaki now. I'll keep going, but mainly because it's so cheap and so close, not because it's great.

I always order here. Last night I ordered 2 chicken hibachi meals and vegetable lo mein. I was afraid with it being close to closing that the food wouldn’t be fresh (I’ve never ordered close to closing time). I was so wrong! The food was hot, fresh, and delicious!!! I had to leave a review this time because the food was so damn good.

We ordered Chicken Lo Mein with no vegetables, 4 egg rolls and 1 extra cream sauce and it was less than $20.00. It was a lot of food and so delicious! This will definitely be our new go to place. Other Chinese/Asian restaurants have gotten too ridiculous with their prices and the quality has went down hill.

Ordered the house rice and it was pretty good. Sakura grill has a large menu, with plenty to select from. This was my first time going to this restaurant. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. I would pay Sakura Grill another visit in the future.
