First time dining at a Sake Cafe and had a fairly good experience! I really liked the complimentary parking which allowed 6 hours!! I thought it would be 2-3 hours max, but when it said 6, I was impressed. Service was great especially since my party and I ordered a lot. The waitress was accommodating and allowed us to use two other tables nearby for our dishes and to-go containers. Everything we ordered was good especially the calamari and sashimi. Only thing disappointing was their happy hour menu. I felt like it was very limited and barely had anything to offer compared to other sushi restaurants. Overall, it was still a great place to dine in. Even the ambience and anesthetics were nice! I would most likely return and recommend this location to others!

After finding several other Asian restaurants either closed or by reservation only, because it was Christmas Day, we stumbled across the Sake. Feeling both hungry and adventurous, in we went, and promptly got a table. It’s a stylish if slightly dated decor, but perfect for a Japanese cafe. We are not big fans of sushi but noticed the menu had plenty of other options. It was pretty busy but our server, Quicha, brought water immediately and we ordered drinks. It’s a quiet but lively atmosphere, great for conversation. We ordered the Rock Shrimp Tempura and the portion was surprisingly large and extremely hot. The shrimp were delicious! I ordered beef teriyaki entree which came with a small salad and rice. As you can hear and see in the video, it came to the table sizzling hot. The teriyaki was outstanding - not too sweet as I often find in most restaurants. The rice was perfect, and equally hot. My husband got udon with shrimp and it was delicious. Because it was Christmas, they had many takeout orders, so we noticed a delay bringing our food, but Quicha did what any experienced server would do - she explained, apologized, kept us in drinks, and told them to stop accepting takeout orders so she could serve her customers better. Whether you love sushi or not, this cafe is a sure bet if you like Japanese cuisine. Highly recommended.

The positive was one of the best interiors I’ve seen. Beautiful restaurant. Probably a good date spot. The only two real complaint was that the happy hour specials really were not that cheap compared to your average sushi place. Second is that the service was awful. I’ve never been to a restaurant where the waiter door person and bartender could care less. I left with a very negative experience just because they all seemed sloppy and bitter and apathetic. Went for happy hour. The drinks were half price but not even worth that. The beers may have been 8 ounces. Wine pour was minimal. The sushi roll specials were the same as full priced rolls at other restaurants. I’d highly recommend the fried squid appetizer.

Delicious sushi with generous portions! Our waiter, Ron, not only provided excellent service but also added a delightful touch of humor to our dining experience. He made our visit to this restaurant even more enjoyable!

Swanky Japanese restaurant/sushi bar on Mag st. I wanted some good sushi and they didn't disappoint. This place is large, two stories so they can accommodate big parties. The interior wasn't just normal sushi bar aesthetic and stood out in a mostly good way. The cooler case full of dragon blade knives and kunai was an interesting accent point though. I specifically came for mackerel. It happened to be HH, which I appreciated them having saba on special. Ordered a special roll as well, and while it was good, it was all about the mackerel. My only complaint was the service was kind of slow, given how empty it was at the time. I'd come back for more Mackerel and to try some of their other options.

Always a winner. We come for the happy hour food and drinks that ends at 530, I think most if not every day. We always have good service here, the wait staff are exceptional. Real sushi, real bar, real servers, spot on.

Terrible service, hidden charges, poor customer service. I recently dined in this restaurant with a group of 9. Although we were a large group there were only 2 other tables that had guests. There seemed to be only one waitress. once we received our food, she was so quick to drop everything off that she never asked if we had everything. We were missing items for our order. Then my husband ordered more food because his portion was so tiny. the entire group ate and we waited over 25 minutes and he still hadn’t received his food. We had someone leave the table to go find our waitress who was blatantly playing games on our phone, asked where his food was and jumped up to put it in. She had the nerve to say the chefs were backed up. Like I said there was only 2 other tables that had guests. I asked if we could get it removed because of how late it took, and she said he received it and the chefs were backed up. I still had missing items, my husbands food was so late we were literally asking for the check and waiting on his two pieces of food he ordered. Also the menu specials listed are false advertising. They list a 2 roll special for $17.50. They charge you $28. This goes for all their items, they increased all the charges but not the menu. Also on their menu it says groups over 6 people will be charged a gratuity rate of 18% the receipt has 20% as the charge. They are literally adding $20-30 extra per guest And then when you address it they are not helpful and just say that is what the charge is. This is a big tourist place and I just want other people to get ripped off. Inflation is bad enough without restaurants trying to add additional fees. This is not how you value your customers or represent your brand as a company. Deceitful, unprofessional, do not recommend.

Very lovely walking in. We didn't like our first seat and the waitress was kind enough to let us move. The waitress was so sweet, attentive. and positive, i shouldve gotten her name! Her energy really made us feel so comfortable. The food was amazing and came out fast. The first hot sake that I've actually liked! I will definitely come back and can't wait to bring my friends.
