We discovered this hidden gem near our hotel on New Year’s Eve. The restaurant had beautiful decor, and the food experience exceeded our expectations. Not realizing the portions were so generous, we ordered more than we could eat. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place, especially if you’re a sushi lover. Thank you!
Simply perfect. Amazing fresh sushi, some of the most attentive service I’ve gotten in CA, cool vibe & for a price that can’t be beat. The 2 for 1 sushi roll deal is unbeatable and the quality doesn’t lack a bit. Would go out of the way to return!!
We’re spending Christmas in LA from Niagara Falls, Canada. We stopped here before we headed to the LA Kings game. Teamwork staff ensured your water glass was full and no empty plates were left on your table. Service was fast and efficient and the sushi was incredible. So fresh and delicious. Even the manager came to ask how everything was and you could tell they care about this establishment and the satisfaction of their patrons. Great job all around!
Sakana provided us with the best meal we had during our stay in LA, and the service was extraordinary!!! Our family was recently in LA for 4 days. Fortunately, we selected Sakana for our first evening meal as it was close to our downtown hotel. It was a Wednesday night, and parking was available right in front of Sakana. We were initially greeted by a kind security guard out front. He literally welcomed us to Sakana with a huge smile, and walked us right into the restaurant. We were seated immediately. The service was prompt, and the food came out quickly. Everything was perfectly prepared and the sushi was super fresh and amazingly tasty. The servers made sure that we had everything we needed. At the end of the meal, Sakana employees even volunteered to take a family picture of us. When we were packing to come home on Sunday, I realized that the beanie I had worn into Sakana was missing. Upon arriving home, I sent an email to Sakana inquiring about my beanie and offering to pay them to ship it back to me if they did have it. Within an hour, Sakana responded confirming that they did have it...and would mail it back to me at their expense. Three days later, my trusted beanie arrived! Sakana took excellent care of us while we were there, and then went above and beyond after we were gone. If I lived in LA, I would become a regular at Sakana. If you are in the downtown LA You area, I would encourage you to have a meal there...you will not be disappointed.
Absolutely one of our most favorite places to eat in DTLA and just in general. We went there for the first time last week and we’ve been back since! The sushi is the most delicious! Their appetizers, drinks, service and VIBE ambiance will NOT disappoint. Make sure to have the Japanese Croquette. YUM! Don’t take my word for it…try it for yourself! 😋
Such a sweet staff so warm and welcoming. The menu has staples but offers the item cook, seared, or raw. We tried the garlic roll and the rainbow roll. They were equally appetizing. For a late Tuesday evening meal, just off of the main drag of downtown, you want to one here. Parking was no problem.
Everything was delicious. We went for lunch on a weekday and had really quick speedy service. Reasonable prices for sushi. The sashimi tacos were just okay, but the rolls were delicious. Definitely try to hot night roll for something different! The yusu mule was super refreshing as well and is a great drink for the summer. Also, loved the enclosed outdoor patio!
Food was delicious. Atmosphere was great and staff was especially friendly. Thank you so much to the chef who made my little one her own little roll. It was the cutest thing ever and my baby ate it up so quick!

Holy wow this place was DELICIOUS! I got the shrimp sando and my friend got the chicken sando (he had never heard of or had a sandwich like that before and still talks about to this day). The shrimp sando was soooo good! Perfectly worked with walnuts
Food, service, and atmosphere all 5/5. I got the BBQ Catfish (the catfish is lightly breaded and fried) Bowl-Lito, incredible. The people were super friendly and patient, with so many tasty options I didnât know what to get. The atmosphere was marv
Solid lunch spot. Prices are very reasonable considering the times. All their meats have the nice smoky charred taste, which I love. Iâd say not a dinner spot if youâre looking for some ambience, but still great for take out. Tried both the yakin

I came here for a business lunch with a couple of colleagues. I decided to go with the ramen combo, which is a small plate (starter), one ramen and a drink. My starter was the Spicy Tori Karaage, which is a Japanese Fried Chicken in spicy chili sauce
I have a soft spot for classic Japanese restaurants that have Yakitori as they remind me of a childhood restaurant. Sake House Miro was a recommendation from good friends who moved to LA so naturally we came to try it! The Yakitori we ordered was al

My new fav sushi spot in Brentwood! The spicy tuna crispy rice is so good and their miso soup has so much flavor. The best roll is the fire crunch, I highly reccomend you come and try!

I was amazed by the authentic Japanese cuisine at UKA, and being Japanese myself, I believe this restaurant truly captures the essence of our culinary heritage. The chefs' attention to detail brought out flavors that transcended mere appearance, leav

Valentina and Helen are absolutely wonderful trainers. They always go out of their way to help everybody out: always giving adjustments to improve posture and performance. I always book a session when one of them is there. They also play great music.
My time at this gym has been nothing short of exceptional! I recently hit my 1 year anniversary and am proud to be a member of CrossFit Echo Park. At first I was hesitant about joining CrossFit in general due to thinking it was just a bunch of rugged
