It was my first time in this parish. The Mass was so beautiful and reverend!
THE CATHEDRAL IS CENTRALLY LOCATED, AND IS A HISTORICAL PLACE WITH BEAUTIFUL ARCHITECTURE AND STAINED GLASS. THE CATHEDRAL IS THE CATHEDRAL PARISH OF THE CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF AUSTIN. MASSES ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. A MASS IN ENGLISH IS OFFERED ON A DAILY BASIS AS WELL AS OTHER SCHEDULED MASS TIMES INCLUDING A LATIN MASS AND A BILINGUAL MASS. THERE IS A GIFT SHOP OFFERING SALES OF RELIGIOUS ITEMS. ATTENDING MASS AT THE CATHEDRAL RENEWS THE TRADITIONAL VALUES OF OUR CATHOLIC FAITH.
Very pretty Cathedral, if you’re Catholic please consider staying for a mass service.
Wife and I went there and we were amazed by how beautiful the place is. They had the organ playing in the background with made the ambiance serene. The cathedral is also a historical place. I love Catholic Churches and their art.
I would love too thank Archbishop and all the Priests Deacons Music Ministers Alter Boys and Anyone Else that I missed For the Great Christmas Eve Mass of 2023 It Was a Great And Mesmerizing Service I Truly felt like I was actually in Heaven with God And all the Angels and Saints as a matter of a fact it is kind of hard too say how I felt all I can say I felt Mesmerized and in Awe it Truly was a Meditative Moment even The Security Guard was Cool and Friendly because my friend and I were waiting on a ride after Midnight Massof which I thought forgot all about us so we went into the School Gymnasium and Parking Garage too keep warm and the Security Guard came Walking through and we explained too him what we were doing and what happened and he said No worries as a matter of a fact I'm going too shut this door so you guys can keep warm I Definitely felt God's Presence in there from the Arch Bishop down too the Parishoners and the Security Officer 💙 ❤️ 💜 I Truly Love this Church and will definitely be Back as a Matter of a fact I really want too make Saint Mary's My Home Parish Thank you for the warm welcome

Its a beautiful church located right in downtown Austin.The architecture is great.I love their choir Also you can check out their latin and English mass time on their website also I know the church is sometime open you will have to use the side door and you can pray there peacefully.They have parking in the front of church incase its filled up lot of other spots for public parking is available in downtown
The main cathedral for the diocese of Austin is a little small, very old and really cool on the inside. I have been to Sunday mass here in the 2010s and now daily mass in the 2020s. It has a lot of good sacred art in it and it’s a great place to feed your spirit and your soul. It’s in the heart of downtown off Congress right by the Capitol building. I’d recommend going here and then checking out downtown for an afternoon or a day.
