Absolutely beautiful and serene. Plenty of trails. Ability to ride your bike, fish, etc. I’m not sure why I live so close and visit so infrequently. That’s going to change now.
We have been here before and will keep coming back. The weather was fantastic for a day outside in the sun and letting the little one run around. Fairly quiet despite it being a Sunday. Found a nice area to sit in the shade and relax for the day while the guys did some fishing.
Took the inflatable kayak to Sailboat Cove. $9 to park and launch. Only a few other kayaks on the lake, mostly fishing. Before I did a lap around the lake I wasn't hip to the rules of the lake and the lifeguard boat rushed up on me to let me know the rules. (Twice)
Great place for the family. Paddle boats, paddle boarding and kayak rentals. Great shoreline, lots of wildlife and birds. BBQ's and pick-nick tables. Lots of shelters and clean restrooms. Summer season - entry fee is $10. Launch fee is $7 per. Fishing is tough, not stocked except for trout in the winter. Have a great day!

Fabulous place to sail small boats. No docks unfortunately, but you can manage. The speed boats are pretty well corralled too, so there's almost nothing to worry about.
Love this place, except for the trash that don't pick up after themselves. Wish they wouldn't let the trash in. And who doesn't love a group that feels a need to share their shittty music? I recommend weekdays in the morning
I really like this park. Nice new slides and play ground. Basketball courts with new nets, tennis courts. lots of open space to run around perfect for kids. Restrooms are clean also. Plenty of parking.
Beautiful & easy hiking trail. You will walk beside the creek most of the 6M trail & will have to cross the water several times. Lots of shade but no restrooms. Free parking available @ 3 different locations of the trail.
