How did I not know about Sagecliffe sooner! I visited this wonderful resort in Quincy, WA with my husband and two young kids this week and had such a great experience! We stayed at one of the Cliffhouses and couldn't believe the breathtaking views. The heated outdoor pool was perfect for our whole family. The kids spent hours in the pool while my husband and I could just relax and get some quality time together. The fresh pizzas by the pool was such a great touch (steak/garlic topping is to die for!) The restaurant and spa are all top notch at this resort. They even have actual pickleball courts! Highly recommend visiting Sagecliffe next time you need a getaway!

This is a great find.. we had been to few resorts within Washington and Oregon. This is easily in top 3 for us. We stayed in Cliff house which was tastefully designed to be spacious, private with great view. It was beautiful 3 days (2 nights) of stay here. The staff were all very helpful and courteous. It's a huge property to explore during your evening walks. There is also a moderate trek inside the property for resort guest, that leads to the water you see in the photos. The gorge views were mesmerizing during sunset. A special mention to the spa. Me and my wife went to spa for signature massage (for her), and deep tissue (for me). We both came out feeling that this has been the best spa we had been to. Ask for Terri Marie or Angela and you won't regret it. They are very knowledgeable, courteous and focused on making you feel better. Our experience with them makes us wanna go back to this resort again. One last thing that you might wanna consider if your diet doesn't include any type of meat is, the restaurant menu has limited options for you. They do have couple of vegetarian dishes. But that can become redundant if you are staying for more than 2 days. But the restaurant staff were very helpful and let us customize some dishes to remove meat, where possible.

The Sagecliffe Resort is undoubtedly in a beautiful location. However, our experience with the room and staff was poor. The staff responsible for check-in were not present and were found outside on their phones. Our room was tidy and clean, but the tub had no drain stopper. A staff member gave us two to try from other rooms, but neither worked. We were left disappointed because we enjoy baths when staying at beautiful resorts.

Beautiful property and wonderful service! The sunsets were breathtaking and we saw rabbits, deer and quail in the vineyard outside of our yurt. Fantastic experiences at the Fox and Quail Whiskey Bar and Tendrils Restaurant. The yurts could do with a couple of upgrades (couch, outside seating) but they were very clean and overall it was a wonderful weekend.

I was inspired to take the time to leave this review because I wanted to acknowledge a specific SageCliffe staff member that really stood out to our group, his name is Morgan. We had a wonderful experience at this resort. The scenic nature of this location located on the Columbia River and nestled within a vineyard is quite exquisite. The facet that stood out the most to us was the level of service we received during our stay. Specifically there was a gentleman named Morgan who took such great care of us at the poolside bar. His service was top notch in all respects, he went WAY above and beyond to make sure that our entire group never had an empty cup or hungry mouths! His outgoing and welcoming demeanor made us feel taken care of. Our entire group was impressed with him and he seemed to go out of his way with everyone he interacted with (and his mixed drinks all tasted right on par!). I think we have all visited hotels/restaurants/destinations that are beautiful.. but the staff and/or the level of service received was not on par.. The SageCliffe Resort staff were so warm and welcoming.. A BIG thank you to Morgan for taking such great care of us everyday.., and thanks for always hustling! Also thank you Morgan for calling our room to let us know we forgot our take out at the pool ;). One last thing: * Daily brunches are awesome at the resort * The massages at the spa are really quite exceptional * If you ever go to The Gorge to see a concert and take your RV.. treat yourself once to this experience and you will never look back * The special entrance from Sage Cliff to The Gorge Amphitheater is incredible

I had an exceptional stay at the Sagecliff Resort in a cavern room on my way from California to British Columbia. It was gorgeous and felt very safe for a single woman, traveling on my own. So on my way back, I decided to drive out of my way to stay there again. ||When I looked at availability on my return, there were only two “rooms” available. One was a “condo” and one was a “yurt”. Pricing them out, it was only a little more to stay in a condo. I booked the morning of my drive and arrived finally at the resort around 7 pm, tired and hungry and ready to settle in for the night after driving all day.||The woman at the desk very casually told me that there was a $120 cleaning fee for the condo. I was shocked, and definitely would NOT have booked that room if there was any notice of this. I told her there was no notice of this (either on line in the description, or in the confirmation email sent to me upon booking). She said there was nothing she could do. I asked to speak to a manager, and she said there was no manager on site. She then phoned the manager, and told her the situation. Honestly, she didn’t seem to care at all that I was as upset as I was. The manager told her she should call “reservations” and she said she did so and we needed to “wait for a response”. I let her know that I would accept a refund of my payment, and I would get back in my car and go find another hotel (an exhausting thought, given the remote location of this place). Alternatively, they could put me in a different room (or yurt), or waive the fee. She said there was nothing she could do but wait. I waited 45 minutes before I left and let her know I would dispute the charge. I asked her to ask the manager to phone me. About 15 minutes after leaving, the manager phoned me, apologized, and said she would refund the charge. I do not understand why this didn’t happen immediately. ||So here’s my public service announcement if the resort fails to change their information: THERE IS A HIDDEN CLEANING FEE WHEN BOOKING THE CONDO. If you are staying for one night, it makes it ridiculously expensive. And while the resort is lovely, the management doesn’t seem to care much about solving problems. Also, for some reason, there is a random change “pending” right now on my credit card.

I wish this great location with wonderfully unique accommodations could elevate the food service program, because of this important resort function I hesitate coming back or making a better review. I support and desire them to be successful in this area, as I feel it would put them in the company of Washington's premiere resorts. My wife and I will likely rent one of the homes, bring our own groceries and use the resort for drinks next time to avoid this challenge. Wishing the best for Sage Cliffs...

An amazing resort. We have stayed here for 3+ years while attending concerts. The Gorge Amphitheater is right next door. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. They are also well taken care of. The service level is top notch. We have yet to run into service issues even in the busiest weekends. Plenty to do near by. Hiking. Great turns. State parks. And of course the river.
