Sage N Sand Motel - Featured Reviews (402)
Honest Review! When I first pulled in I was a little nervous about how the hotel would be looking from the outside. A very kind Indian family bought out the hotel a year and a half ago. THEY ARE ALL THE KINDEST PEOPLE. They are remodeling the hotel and the rooms were actually very cute and comfortable! I traveled there for work my room had a whole other room for a bathroom and shower, my coworkers room had 3 beds and a FULL kitchen. Stove oven microwave full size fridge and freezer the works!! It honestly felt like a studio apartment. The kindness of the family blew me away! We didn’t check in until pretty late (11 pm) since we worked before we checked in. When we got there the check in process was super simple and quick and they upgraded our rooms for free! When we checked out his wife made us hot chai tea and some hand made pastries and packed it for us for the road ☺️ what a kind gesture. I honestly have no complaints what so ever and highly recommend to anyone traveling to or through Moses Lake!
Positive: The AC was awesome. Older building, but new owners are renovating rhe rooms. Mine was a recent update that was very spacious and clean. Family was extremely nice and helpful. Close to town and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again and recommend. Negative: Pet friendly hotel without a pet area. Which wasn't a problem just need walk dogs outside the hotel area.
My husband and I stayed here with our two dogs while traveling across country in our camper. We needed a reasonably priced dog friendly motel because it was 100 degrees outside and we couldn’t camp in that heat. Sage and Sand delivered. The motel has been renovated beautifully, everything was clean, it was quiet and the AC worked great! Something we appreciated is that the AC is in a hallway alcove/ area adjoining the bathroom, which means the AC wasn’t next to the bed, freezing us out. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay there again. 👍
This is the cutest old school motel with an awesome vintage vibe. It was very clean and comfortable and the new owners were so sweet and welcoming. They have done tons of work on the place and are planning to have the pool ready for next summer. I like to come over from the west side for concerts at the Gorge and definitely plan to stay here again.
Went to see hozier at the gorge on September 6th and had a room booked for 9/06-9/07 because I knew my friend and I would be too tired to drive back home after. I received an email on the first of September confirming the stay. We got to the motel at about 12:20am 9/07 and were told they couldn't find our reservation. I showed the person working the front desk the email I received and they checked again and said somehow the reservation had been switched to start on the 7th, which I obviously did not do because that would be useless to me, and all they could tell me was they hadn't charged my card yet. We asked if they had an empty room and (unsurprisingly to me because the hozier concert was sold out) they did not. My friend and I spent about 20 minutes calling around to see it there were any rooms open in the area and the only one we could find was $267 after tax. That is about $180 more than I would have spent on a room at this motel. I'm so incredibly frustrated
It really depends on the price. We paid $240 for one night over the Memorial Day holiday. That price is much too expensive for this hotel. It’s a clean place that is dog friendly, but the amenities are something more akin to an old Motel 6, not a Hampton Inns. So, the price we paid makes this a three-star stay at best.
We were a little concerned pulling in but our room was newly remodeled, very clean, and the owners and staff were very friendly. Very quiet. Good price for the value.
I stayed at this property all summer for a project that I had in the area. I got to know the family that owns and runs it, and they wound up treating me like family. I literally can't say enough about this place. Very clean rooms, 5 minutes to dow
If you know you know. They got the best breakfast burritos in the Milky Way. If you're anywhere near planet Earth, it's worth the trip. Their crew is really too.
I love this place! So cute and the cookies are well worth the $$$ð¤ and itâs always fun to track the new weekly menu. Oh and you gotta the love the cute cookie cutter! 5 stars!
A beautiful park. I had been wanting to go through here for a couple years now. We finally did last week. Eye candy and soul food. The Koi are magnificent and love their habitat. I would've spent more time there but it was one of those really toasty
I must express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service provided by Pioneer Vet, which has proven to be an exceptional veterinary clinic. In a moment of urgency, they accommodated my last-minute weekend appointment with minimal waiting tim
Love the huge playground, and the mudflats season is wicked.. between the sand dunes and mudflats, you can drive for days and not drive the same spot.. Pros: everything.. Cons: sand flies. Bring bug repellant and citronella candles or some peppermin
I have been coming to the taco shop since 1997 . When I very first started coming into Moses Lake and I have been eating there ever since. Pete, the owner knows me by name and he knows exactly what I order every time I come in there. Having that litt
