Safeway - Grocery store in Sahuarita - 1305 W Duval Mine Rd, USA

After shopping at Safeway on Continental for years I have moved on to this store. It is such a pleasure to shop at a store with wider aisles and where the shelves are actually stocked. This store is clean and well run. The cashiers are good and the baggers actually know how to bag. I drive more than twice the distance to get to this store but it's well worth it.

Open on New Years day, impressive! The staff was pleasant for working a holiday. The store was clean.

I'm iimpressed with this store, it's a fairly large store with a really good selection, if you use the electronic coupons you can save quite a bit...... It's honestly one of the nicest Safeway I've been to...

Expensive Offers!... Same offers than another saveways but different prices. For example *cheese offer this week* could be $1.77 in another stores, but this store has it for $2.77... A dollar more!!! Try to avoid this store if you can! The self checkout computers are always calling for assistance with not reason! 🥴 and you have to wait for the *not too nice worker to come and fix the computer. At least that happened to me yesterday when I needed help with a purchase and TERRY the person who supposed to assist the costumers in that area, she was frustrated and angry because she needed to assist a lot of other customers and she told me that she was not going to help me because it was too complicated for her. I even apologized for bothering her and I told her that it could be hard sometimes, you know I felt sympathy for her and told her I was sorry for asking for assistance". She sent me to a costumer service area and it was worse!!! GUADALUPE, the lady in charge there in a loud voice, like yelling at me, she wasn't able to answer my questions in a good manner. I noticed that the other costumers in front of me, were treated the same way! Too sad! AND BE CAREFUL! Because even though you have the app, and clip the offers in advance, and you add your phone number before you pay, You can go home and do not noticed that you paid the full price, because for some reason the system would not make the discount 🥴. Yesterday I paid the chicken full price,( I paid around $13. dollars instead of $6. dollar. $4lb x 1.47 lb) the reason I go there is to buy the offers ONLY because everything else is more expensive than Walmart... I always double check my receipt, but I guess I was too scared to ask Terry for assistance that all I wanted is to finish and go... My two young kids were with me so they were tired too! Good thing at Sprouts (the farmers market close by) were excellent people and well trained workers and make me feel a huge relief that not everyone is the same!

Lazy butchers in meat department. Purchased 2 small tritip roasts, weighing 3 pounds total. Butcher hid a 1/2" fat cap on bottom of roast. Each cap weighed 6oz each. Trimmed off 12oz of fat. Clean up the meat before you package.

We wanted a brisket today and went to Safeway. There was a woman in the butcher area and she was amazing. The men who work there could learn from her. She prepared me a flat brisket and it was perfect. There was a man who also worked in the dept that gave her a hard time and she responded to him very professionally. Two thumbs up! Give her a raise and go there for your meat. I wish I had gotten her name…

Great place to buy some groceries,Hygiene products , or when you want top shelf produce to feed the grandchildren or you need a prescription filled Safeway has you covered, weekend BBQ they have everything you need to NFL Sunday funday all variety of liquor and beer to make your get together a hit....drink responsibly

Love going here! The employees are all very friendly....with the exception of one, but I don't see him anymore. The Starbucks is the best in the area!
