Upon arriving at Saddlebrook Resort on the evening of 08/30, we were surprised to find out that valet parking was mandatory and cost $30 per day. In addition, we were required to place a $500 hold on our reservation. None of this crucial information was disclosed on Reservations.com when we booked our stay. If we had been informed of these fees, we would have chosen a different establishment. The lack of transparency concerning these hidden fees is unacceptable and constitutes a breach of our agreement with your establishment. It is essential to protect consumer rights and demand honesty from businesses about their fees.|After researching on TripAdvisor, I discovered similar complaints about valet parking and hidden charges. The staff's response, claiming that valet parking and resort fee details are available on their website and third-party booking platforms, falls short of true transparency.|Upon entering our room, we were hit with a strong musty odor and encountered numerous issues, including a malfunctioning refrigerator, which we did inform Juan and Kyle about, and were advised that a work order would be submitted, but no one came and fixed the refrigerator. We also experienced a non-functional phone, a slow-draining sink, a faulty bathtub faucet, and inoperative outlets. Despite being informed about ongoing renovations, such conditions were unsatisfactory.|Despite our dissatisfaction, we made the best of our stay. However, the lack of cleanliness in our room forced us to purchase cleaning supplies from Walmart to address the dirty bathroom, kitchen countertop, and fixtures. Our experience was further marred by limited room service, towels, and trash services, denying us the opportunity to fully enjoy our vacation.|During checkout, we were presented with an unexpected bill totaling $228.20. I am perplexed by this additional charge, given that I had already paid $194.15 for taxes and resort fees when I made the reservations.

My daughter and I stayed there over the weekend for her birthday. We are very excited as a pictures online looked just gorgeous. When we got there and checked in, we were very surprised to hear that our room was already available and we could go to it. Traci at the front desk was absolutely amazing! She was very accommodating with all of our needs and really went out of her way to help us. We did have a very good experience with the twins who were Driving the golf carts. They were Very friendly and was a great experience. The food was really good, but the only downfall I would say was the rooms were very outdated, although relatively clean. We were told that they were doing complete renovations so we will probably go back there next summer.

My family stayed at the resort in a 2 bedroom suite while visiting from out of state. During their stay, we interacted with a number of staff members that were kind, knowledgeable and very helpful. Aaron, Gabe and Josh in valet were very personable and always quick to assist. We had the pleasure of seeing Aaron every night we were there. It was great chatting with him everyday and we really appreciated his help. Shanie assisted us at check in and was helpful in providing us information about the pool and dining. We had great conversations with Leah and Traci at different points in the stay at the front desk too. Elaine and Anthony, the pool attendants, were really nice while having to deal with our 4 rambunctious kids multiple days. Alberto was willing to give us a golf cart ride to our room on 2 separate occasions even though it was a short walk. This was a huge hit for the kids again, of course! He was so sweet and even promised the kids an additional ride the following day. The pool area is very large with multiple swimming pools (different depths), basketball hoops and a volleyball net. The kids LOVED spending so much time there and had so much fun watching The Sandlot at their dive in movie event. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The hotel rooms are dated, but, they are in the process of doing a complete renovation, which, we can't wait to come back and see! Our suite was clean and well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. Everyone woke up energized in the morning and crashed in the evening. So I would say it was a very successful trip!

Arriving to the resort, you can see beautiful homes and apartments. Once you get to the resort, it’s very apparent that the amenities are the main attraction for guests. I had a reservation for 2 night and checked out after the first night. My room was infested with roaches. I believe this hotel needs to be renovated as soon as possible. You can tell the buildings are extremely old and out dated. Other than the room, the staff were extremely nice and helpful!

Not worth the money or title of resort. The suites were filthy. At check-in, I heard another guest complaining about the rooms being filthy & filled with cockroaches. I did not take his word for it so I went ahead & checked in. I checked my suite after hearing the other guest complain at check in. My room was also filthy covered in bugs, dust & food crumbs. Also saw a couple roaches, non working light fixtures & mix matching lamps. Had to sweep the kitchen myself. There was a mildew odor present. I didn’t really have a choice since I was traveling with my three month old who was hungry & had already been driven for hours to the property. I didn’t want to ruin my family vacation we rode it out. The valet was a little intrusive with lots of personal questioning. My vehicle was also used as a shuttle to move each other around by the tracks of mud they left in the vehicle. Also saw valet relaxing in my vehicle, they even paired their iphone to my car. Terrible experience all around.

The rooms are NOT worth $269 per night! We are here as for a large conference which required extended stay. We had multiple rooms booked at are disappointed in them all. Room 1 is dirty with dead bugs in the sink and spider webs on the light fixtures. The furniture is badly stained, lights or outlets don’t work. In addition to the rooms being horrible the service is also mediocre. We waited 4 hours for towels and 5 hours for sheets. The second room had dead bugs in the pull out sofa and at the time of me writing this review this room has yet to receive towels or linens. It is truly unfortunate that we have to suffer here for another 6 days. My children are of the crawling age and we are afraid to allow them to be placed on the carpet. DO NOT waste your time or money staying at this property!!!!!!!

My family stayed for 1 day. The check in was rep was nice and it was fast to check in. The phone numbers that was given to call for golf cart transportation never worked. I even tried calling prior to arrival and the phone number provided on the websites was giving a dial tone busy tone. The room was clean but smelled like old mop water, mildew smell. We had to spray the room and air it out. The phone in the room did not work at all so we couldn’t call for anything from the inside the room or off the phone due to the numbers not working ! My kids enjoyed the pool but that was about it! The furniture in the rooms are very old the sofa bed / couch had so many stains like it was never deep cleaned very tacky. I’m glad we only did 1 day. I wouldn’t recommend for a long weekend not worth it.

The grounds were great however the rooms and parking situation left much to be desired. The rooms were spacious but old, run down, with dirty carpet. The kitchen barely had the basics to make a meal for 2. The pots and pans were stained and scratched. There wasn't a sponge or any cutlery. But the worse of all was the wait time for the mandatory valet. 20 to 30 minutes everytime. We would never return to this resort.

We had to use Cloud9 Studios last minute for our son’s birthday shoot and had a great experience. The shooting session was great - they had great props, backdrops and lighting. Jeanine, the owner, is amazing! Go ahead and book them!
