Sad Boyz - Cafe in New Gretna - 5670 US-9, USA

My Husband is from the Newark area. Ever since he moved out here he has been on the hunt for the perfect breakfast sandwich/brunch. When I tell you he took a bite and started crying… he is in love! I got a burger and OMG THIS IS INCREDIBLE!!!! A party in your mouth! 10/10 can not recommend enough! We will be eating here all the time 🤤🤤🤤

best in jersey. jonah (owner) and pat (chief cook) were super nice, and the food was great. cheesesteak was phenomonal, even compared to philidelphia og cheesteaks! inside is a little small, but a very modern layout with a cozy feel. the music was also nice. we'll probably stop back on the way back from our roadtrip, thanks for your service :)

What a wonderful experience! The place is beautifully done inside. You can tell a lot of hard work went into creating this place! They have the best bagels in south jersey, and the best cold brew I’ve ever had! You have to try the cold brew with the French vanilla foam! Jonah does an amazing job cooking and communicating with the guests. Aiden was very nice and helpful! Overall great experience and will be coming back to NJ just to visit!

Have driven by this place dozens of times and decided to grab some lunch. Opted out of McD's and ended up here. What a great decision. Very nice establishment inside, very clean. Jonah, taking orders at the register and serving as well, was very friendly. Got the cheese steak which is at the top of the menu and was arguably one of the best I've had. The bread was great; not a standard torpedo roll and very fresh. They didn't chintz on the meat which was done to perfection. How many times do you bite into the Philly cheese steak and the biggest thing you taste is the dough . Homemade raspberry tea was delicious. Looking forward to stopping again and moving down the menu list of items!

I stopped in on my way back from atlantic city on a whim and as soon as you walk in the vibe is awesome and clean, the music was great. I was impressed with how well the handled the food, how clean it was, and the attention to detail of each order. The food was great I'll be stopping here every time I can! 10/10 you guys killed it

The place looks awesome and the food was fantastic! My husband had the Double Fatty smashed burger with bacon, and my daughter and I had the same minus the brioche bun. We all shared a heap of fries with the house signature sauce. We loved all of it! The seasoning on the fries might be the best flavor I've had in a long time. Best of luck to this new gem in the Pines!

Im a smash burger snob. I’ve probably tried over 100 different places that do a smash burger. Sad Boyz smash burger is easily in my top 5, possibly even top 3! Absolutely incredible! Had to edit the review to talk about the “PHILLY DILLY” burger of the month (Sept 23). BY FAR THE BEST BURGER IVE EVER HAD!!! Incredible!!!

Food was excellent. I had the burger of the month- Swiss Army Knife and it was delicious. Buns are perfect and everything is seasoned well. Our only issue was as first timers their was no direction as to where to go/what to do after walking in. So, if you go, seat yourself and read the board but go up to the register to order and grab drinks. They will deliver to your table after that and all is fine. We also go shakes on the way out which were very good- crumb cake shakes!❤️
