Idk what happen to this place maybe new owners or something but it’s not what it used to be. I got a pepperoni slice and it was literally unedible I had
to throw it out. I grew up going here and the pizza was always bomb but it’s so didfferent now. It’s very thin and was falling apart when I picked it up to take a bite, almost soggy like. I’m not picky with pizza because that’s my all time favorite food but this was weird
Excellent pizza. Found the pizzeria while trying to find a new way around traffic in New Rochelle. What a delicious find. It's located on a very residential street across from a Catholic school & it's church making parking almost impossible. I had to park illegally & run in for slices...worth it.
Saccone's Pizzeria is a hidden gem in New York. Their pizza is amazing, their service is great, and their prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great pizza experience.
Cashier was touching my food with bare hands and touching her face. Touching others things never wore gloves
Authentic ny style thin crust pizza, and delicious home made italian ices. Dont forget to get the peppahs chopped up on anything bc it adds an instant twist of spicy flavor. You wont find 5 pages on their menu, but the few items they have is top notch! Glad they are still up and running. A true neighborhood spot.
Good spot! Nice pizza. Cocunut Ice has real fruit😍
I lived in New Rochelle for 8 months at an apartment of Mielle's family, during 2010 and 2011 when I came from Brazil to NY. They are very nice people! The pizzas and pasta feijolo of this place are just divine! This place gives me good memories.
Great pizza , but terrible staff.
The woman working the register & taking orders is careless. One time, she completely “forgot” to put in my order & just gave me a care-free smirk. Another time, she looks at her co-worker & says to him “oh yea you took that order”, & they both look at me confused only to find they hadn’t even started my order 20 minutes after calling ahead. Every time I call ahead for takeout, they always tell me 15 minutes for the order & it always ends up being over 30 minutes for slices that are already made. After a long day all you want to do is go & pick up your food. Not wait another 20 minutes when you called in the first place to avoid the wait time. I gave them multiple chances considering their pizza is good & everyone makes mistakes, but after time & time again their service falls short for simple service, every time. Not spending anymore money here.
I remember when they first opened after it had been Walkway pizza when I was a kid. I have been going here for years and the unique way which they make there pan pizza is still outstanding. And they still have one of the best burgers in New Rochelle.
