Go to Dewey OK to eat Mexican food! We arrived at 1:15 PM on Sunday and the Sunday crowd was still there. There were a few folks starting to leave, so we were lucky enough to get a table immediately. This is a small tightly packed little restaurant. With the close quarters and being tightly packed it was very noisy! The customer service here really stands out. We were seated in seconds; a waiter followed us to the table with chips and salsa, took our drink order and he was ready to take our meal order. The food came to our table quickly. We were checked on every few minutes to see if there was anything we needed and to check our satisfaction with the meal. Sabores was staffed to handle the restaurant full of diners. They must have had five or six waiters/waitresses working. Every one working there was very friendly and focused on providing customer service. Even the waiters/waitresses that were not working our table would check on us too! Great customer service! The salsa they serve is very mild. It almost tastes more like spaghetti sauce than a Mexican salsa. They do have a hotter and spicier version. Ask for it, it is very good. Also ask for an order of chili toreados. They bring out two big jalapenos, grilled onions, and pico de gallo, all covered in seasoning. It is a nice accompaniment to the meal! We had the Sopes de Mexico and the El Molcajate. I recommend them both. They were big plates of food with great tasting sides. The Molcajate had a mild chipotle sauce on it along with fresh Mexican cheese, nopales, onions and loads of beef and chicken. Would give zero stars if I could. I have heard many good things about this place so my family and I decided to finally try it. I attempted to call in an order and when the woman answered the phone she said "HOLD" then put the phone down. For 23 minutes I sat there listening to her and multiple other people laughing in the background . When I finally hung up to call back I had learned they actually shut their phone off and was greeted with the message "this person is not taking calls right now" . If you are busy that is fine, if you are understaffed that is fine. But to just yell HOLD into the phone of a customer willing to spend money at your business , then proceed to laugh and talk with multiple people in the background for over 20 minutes is unacceptable.

I can't rate this place high enough best Mexican restaurant around. Everything was fantastic from the service, drinks, food, decor, and the unique menu options. Oh did I mention you get a free queso with your salsa I've never seen or heard of a Mexican restaurant doing that. Truly the best of the best!

Great food and even better service. We strolled in thirty minutes before closing and the staff was very fast and attentive! The food was amazing! Prices were great! We will absolutely be coming back.

I am always greeted by friendly staff who seem to genuinely want to provide the best experience possible for me during my visit. The service is always excellent. The food is wonderful. I'm so appreciative that the town of Dewey is blessed with this restaurant. They are eager to accommodate my personal preferences regarding how the dishes are prepared.

Great food and now it is completely new looking inside!! Clean and lots of room for families to get together!! I have tried several things on the menu with the chorizo chicken being my favorite!! Great salsa as well! I always check the Mexican restaurants by their salsa😂. The last time that we visited it was on a Sunday and we didn't wait for a table and didn't wait long at all for food!!

The chorizo queso is amazing. Tortilla soup was large enough to serve 4! Authentic food and authentic service. Always good.

Best Sopes I've had in Oklahoma hands down. My husband had the El Alambre and it was phenomenal as well. Beautiful inside and very clean, staff was on point 👍 highly recommend. You also get 1 free queso and free tea with a entree which is nice bonus
