Sabor Mexicano - Mexican restaurant in Lowell - 109 Riverside, USA

This place is amazing! The staff is always friendly and great at answering questions. The food is some of the best Mexican I have had. And there are so many options. It is difficult to choose, so plan to come more than once to try it all. I haven't had anything I didn't like, but I always get the guacamole.

My family and I ate here for the first time and are super excited to find such amazing food so close to home! I never would have thought that Mexican cuisine this good could be found in Lowell, MI! We were given homemade chips and salsas to start the experience and we also ordered some guacamole, which was also homemade and absolutely delicious! For dinner my mom ordered the Trio Sampler and she picked the Gordita, Birria taco, and Tostada. She loved her Birria Taco and the Gordita. So much food comes on the platter that there was no way she was eating it all! She also really liked the rice! My father and I ordered the Trio Plate which came with steak, chicken, and shrimp with tortillas, rice, beans, and pickled onions. So so good! My mom also purchased two Tres Louches to take home! We will be back to try more from their menu!

We came here on a Saturday and the staff is really friendly! We sat right away and our waitress took our order. She took good care of us. While we were eating we could hear the music in the kitchen and the chef singing along! The atmosphere was great too. And to top it all off, the food was delicious. We liked everything we ate. Definitely recommend checking out this place if you’re in town!

Sabor Mexicano is by far the best authentic Mexican restaurant I've tried, and I've tried many of them. Their chips came out hot and fresh, the steak tacos were absolutely amazing (the best I've ever had) and each one of their homeade sauces were on point. The staff working were extremely polite and friendly. Keep up the great work! I will be sure to tell everyone I know about this place and I'll definitely be frequenting this restaurant more often now that I know how good their food truly is. Thank you for the great experience!

first time I ever went here and loved it! Such nice workers and were quick to help you. Very fast service and honestly was shocked because it was busy! Food was amazing and better than most Mexican restaurants I’ve been too. A nice view of the River if you sit in the right place! Free dessert for kids is a plus too :) prices are not bad either and is definitely worth it 💯

Never had barria before and in a Ramen setup, oh man, it was gooooooood. The photos don't do it justice. Just as good as leftovers the next day too! Oh and I had a horchata drink, another first for me. Like a cold Chai tea. So so good. Can't wait to go back.

The best gem in Lowell and perhaps the best Mexican food I have ever had. My husband and I have been coming here since their beginning and have always felt like part of the restaurant family. The food is special and the people who work here are even more special. Go eat here, you won't regret it ❤️

Superb Authentic Mexican Cuisine. Every plate that comes out of their kitchen is blessed with Love. How do I know? Because it’s Family Owned & Operated, and we’ve been there many times. Almost everyone there is a family member. The kitchen staff has fun preparing your food, as you can hear them singing and hollering among themselves in the back. Servers are friendly & helpful on explaining the menu & options. Melinda, her Hubby & Johnny are the greatest! Highly Recommend!
