Sabor Catracho Express Latin Food - Honduran restaurant in Hammond - 14605 W University Ave, USA

I’ve never had Honduran food before so we decided to come here on a whim and I guarantee you this won’t be my last time. 2 of us split the super Plato, which was $34 after taxes, and we still had enough leftovers for a whole different meal. The pork was mouthwatering good, and everything else was also fantastic. I’m not a fan of plantains but the dessert plantain (I can’t remember the name, sorry) was delicious. The only thing I did not enjoy was the heat. They had a huge fan facing the cashier and small ceiling fans working hard but we were still dripping sweat and it made it hard to relax and eat. But, this will not stop me from going and ordering take out.

Honduran food so delcious in every bite! Generous portions! Very favorable dishes. We will continue to go there!

Food was very good. We ordered the platter to be able to sample everything. Authentic Hundoren food. This is a must try for anyone looking for something delicious!

This was my first time experiencing Catrachos. The person who waited on us was friendly and polite, we were sat immediately and we knew exactly what we wanted, The Super Plato Catracho (a bit of everything). Food came out in about 10 or so minutes and the food was delicious. All of it was good, my favorite item was the plantains. The can of diet coke was $4, but I didn't mind too much. It's worth going back to for sure. Front area is smaller and gets loud easier, but I'm glad we were able to sit in for a bit.

Authentic Honduran food. The food itself was fantastic. Several options, including pupusas, carne asada, baladas. Priced decently (pupusas on the higher end compared to in major cities, but that's to be expected). The location is a tad small and the seating basic but the food is what it's about here and it hits the mark. Will recommend and come again

Eaten here twice, both times equally the same experience both times. Great food but the sample platter should be noted that it can easily feed 3-4 people. Next round I will be reviewing their hamburger, looked very good coming out to another customer today.

Amazing food! Very authentic and so delicious! There was a bit of a language barrier when ordering, so I just pointed at the picture on the menu. I recommend you order online because they have the best authentic latin food to be found around here.

Oh. My. God. Literally some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. We shared an order each of papusas, plátanos, and pastelitos. Everything was super hot and fresh and crispy and we’ll seasoned and DELICIOUS!!! Best new place in Hammond, no question.
