Where’s the beef? I have eaten at SAAL so many times and have always had great service and food. Ate there recently and instead of the 1/2 lb burger I normally get, there was a small 4 oz very little flavor patty (think packaged hamburger patties). I was rather shocked for an $18 burger I got such a small, sad little patty. Bring back the good beef SAAL. My husband Gyro was as good as always and our son liked his grilled cheese and tomato soup.

Have been going to Saal consistenly since they opened right before the pandemic and through it all they have never failed to impress! Truly the epitome of embracing & supporting the local community along with offering awesome food, drinks, all in an inviting unique environment! - Food has rarely failed to impress and you can taste the difference. Wide variety of menu options for all preferences using fresh local ingredients. From classic hamburgers, one of their special sandwiches, the vegan Chickpea Curry Dip appetizer, my favorite the blackened fish tacos, killer sweet potato fries, you can't go wrong basically anything. Holy smokes it's all good! (And speaking of smoke, did I mention they smoke many of their own meats too?) - Diverse drink menu with a wide variety of local beers, ciders, and even kumbucha on tap. They also fill howlers/growlers. The staff and owners have always been incredibly welcoming and friendly. Saal is a place where you feel like family. Love the fact they they have been able to save and embrace the historic Stanwood Fire House as part of their community oriented mission. If you're in the area, go check out Saal whether it be for a quick bite, drinks, or some conversation. You won't be disappointed.

Great drinks, food, and service. It's set up really nice, you can sit either outside under a tent or inside. The man who serviced us was extremely nice. My husband and I got the Poutine which was delicious, fries were a little too salty but still great. They don't offer flights but you can get 10oz if you don't want a pint. Bathrooms are clean and so are all the tables when you walk in. Dog friendly! Highly recommend!

Saal's is a great place to meet up with a couple friends. The waitress was especially friendly, kind, and customer oriented. Definitely will be back.

Stopped in for a beer and a meal tonight. Very impressed with the place. Great vibe and really good food. My beer expert was also very impressed with the stout, top notch! As a Canadian I have a hard time finding what I consider a good poutine. SAAL nails it!

Food was good but overpriced. Our server wasn't accommodating to some of the questions we had regarding the menu. Good service can really make or break a good experience. Unfortunately this place and many restaurants in general, seem to lack in having good customer service.

Good, still somewhat-new brewery, and a great addition to both the local Stanwood community and the Washington beer scene. Several of the beer options were quite good, and I look forward to their tap offerings expanding with more of their own brews. For food, the sliders are a tasty, inexpensive option, and you can't go wrong with tots. Our bartender was personable and humorous, and the overall vibe was relaxed and comfortable.
