So so, the taste is not the same as in other Korean places, food is not salty at all, just spicy. I don’t think I will come back, sorry. BTW: it would be nice if the waiter smiles.

I thoroughly enjoyed the food here for my first visit. I was skeptical about visiting due to some of the negative reviews but I'm glad I paid them no mind since I ended up having such a pleasant dining experience. I dined in on a Monday night in a party of 3 and was seated immediately when we walked through the door (we were allowed to choose our seats). The booths seemed a bit small but cozy and you're allowed to write on the walls at the restaurant which gives the place a very chill vibe. The server was prompt with bringing water (I believe it has barley in it so the coloring is light brown — don't worry, it's not dirty water). My 9 year old son didn't like the taste of the water but my friend and I enjoyed it; to me, it tastes like refreshing cold tea or a water chestnut drink. We were give (4) free side dishes: kimchi, [pickled?] sliced cucumbers, sweet macaroni, and broccoli. (I don't know the official terms for these side items but they looked and tasted good and paired well with our main orders). It's about $10-$20 per food menu item on average, but I spent about $20-$30 since I ordered the soft tofu spicy soup (with pork but you can also choose seafood or beef) as well as the omurice. The soup was super tasty with the right amount of spice, with the pork being tender. I thought the omurice would taste basic but I really enjoyed the way they cooked the rice and surpassed my expectations. The portions were bigger than expected so my son and I shared the soup and omurice. The server was attentive with our requests and would bring our utensils/straws, extra bowls, and more water in a timely manner. My friend ordered the tteokbokki and it was so cheesy and delicious. She also got bibimbap that looked pretty good too. We had a nice time dining here; definitely going to return!

Absolutely the best Korean restaurant in Sacramento! This place is no nonsense and has very authentic Korean food. I live in LA and if I when come to Sacramento, I always make time to come here. Always great food and I always leave happy. The wait may be long, but they serve everything made to order and it’s DELICIOUS!

Authentic, quaint Korean spot where visitors leave their names on the walls of the booth. So bring a sharpie! Great food, beer and rice alcohol, super staff! Will definitely go back.

The soft tofu soup with seafood was great. With the first bite, I could clearly taste the seafood. The pajeon was great too: crispy and filling. Some side dishes are off (for example the broccoli with white sauce) but others were great. Nice atmosphere, too.

The food is absolutely delicious ! Atmosphere is like a small kitchen in Korea. The only subtract is that you have to wait for meal at least 15mins up to half an hour

My favorite Korean restaurant! I come here so much the lady knows me by my order! The food here is so good and so consistent. They have the best jjol myun, fried chicken, and chicken gizzards. Its the one place my friends and I go to and drive out of the way to get when we crave for Korean foods!

Good place for authentic Korean food. From the hours of the store, the atmosphere of the restaurant, to the taste of the food. Literally, if you aren't able to go to South Korea, Sa Rang Bang can give you a little taste of how it's like eating in South Korea. The only thing is that it's a little more pricier. Could be because of various reasons, but if authentic Korean food is what you want. Go here.
