Not well-organized. Security check doesn’t follow a unified standard. Shuttles from/to campus parking lots are a mess. Nobody knows where to take a shuttle or whether there really is one.
I was there for the northwestern vs UNC women’s lacrosse game Sunday and the game was great however there were some issues mainly the game was a sellout however there were only enough seats for two thirds of the crowd so many people ended up standing for the entire game unacceptable especially if you’re handicapped like me secondly the walkway to get to the seats was very tiny barely enough room for a single file line and there is no designated handicapped seating areas thirdly it’s mainly a practice facility and it showed there was zero crowd atmosphere during the game and I truly believe the stadium was the main cause the parking wasn’t great but it wasn’t terrible either so I could go either way with that the outside of the building and entrance look phenomenal with the lakefront right on top of the facility as for the main question would I go back if it was solely based on team performance I’d say yes however it’s not all about the team so my answer is no I wouldn’t go back until they added more seating and made it more handicapped friendly or just play the games at the soccer stadium like they have in years passed
It is gorgeous and spacious ! Had a new wildcat family orientation here!
Beautiful building and amazing architecture
Amazing facility with breathtaking views!
State of the art indoor practice facility! Used for numerous sports! NU did this one right!
Beautiful facilities. One is the most picturesque scenic buildings in the BTN. The view of the lake is spectacular and the athletes are honored to have such opportunities to study and compete there.
If you have a chance to see it, it is an incredible experience. The scale of the field and roof with floor to ceiling glass overlooking the lake is amazing and a full practice field indoors!
The Shakespeare Garden in Evanston is a Victorian-styled jewel nestled in Northwestern University, perfect for intimate occasions like elopements. As a photographer capturing a couple's special moment, I found its historic charm and literary allure u
Updating my review from NYE 12.31.22. Visited this location a few times in between and even enjoyed our first karaoke night earlier this month (November). Adding pictures here of their 9th Anniversary (Tu.12.21.23) celebration and a special Orange [D
Beautiful. Right on Lake Michigan! Walk/bike/run paths. There's a lagoon with ducks. There's a place to grill, if you so choose. Plenty of parking. $3/hr for non-Evanton city sticker holders. I will definitely return. Loved it!!
Took a long walk along the lakefront to the peninsula at Northwestern University campus. Do you know mice live among the colorful rocks at the lake shore? Got some good pictures of the critter.
Stepping onto the campus of Northwestern University was a truly remarkable experience that left an indelible impression on me. The fusion of academic excellence and vibrant student life was immediately palpable as I navigated the picturesque pathways
Scenic views place where you want to spend time alone and think about solutions or inspiration. The mile way walk by the beach hand in hand sounds romantic..a must visit place when you are sad or a bad mood.
Very nice playground! Simple and with lots of options for creativity. The kids love the climbing wall! I love that! I can see all the kids at the same time from one spot; there is great visibility. There is a wheelchair accessible square picnic table
YUMMMMMM. That pretty much sums up our meal here. Since it was about 10:00 on a weekday, we were able to walk right in and be seated, but I can imagine this place is wildly popular on weekends and holidays. My much-needed coffee was excellent. We spl
Fantastic little (on size but not impact!) Museum regarding the different tribes of American Indian. Had numerous hands on areas for Littles. Highly encourage seeing the No Rest: The Epidemic of Stolen Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2Spirits exhibit.
