Great taco restaurant for a quick bite. If you are a fan of a variety of tack meats and toppings, this is a place for you. The service was fast and the staff was pleasant. I enjoyed my food and the atmosphere was nice. As a note: the price you see on the board is for a single taco. The tacos are on the small.side, so plan for more than one during your order. I will go back.

Tacos were cold, quality was low and taste was bland. $4-$6 per taco and it was not worth it. The ground beef is in very large chunks and it was filled with gristle and it was cold. Very little seasoning. The fish tacos smelled off and it was soggy probably due to the oil not being hot enough or it was reheated. The chicken tacos used dark meat and that was still cold as well. The guacamole, flavor wise was good but there were brown chunks. The steak fajita tacos didn’t have much flavor and all you could taste was the oily green peppers. Lastly, the tortilla shells leathery and tasted like what you’d get right out of the package from a grocery store. Pretty disappointing. Items were served cold, bland flavor, and low quality meats. I see other reviews have had the same experience here and I wish I knew what it tasted like in its heyday but now, I would not recommend.

If you are looking for fresh and tasty street tacos (they do offer flour tortillas if preferred over corn), they have great options. I got a fried chicken taco and a picadillo (beef) taco. Both were great. They cost a bit over $4 each. They offer three salsa options. I chose the “medium” heat red salsa. It is on the mild side of medium for sure. But very tasty. I ate in and I didn’t wait more than 5 minutes to get my order. I am so glad I chose to grab an order of chips and queso before leaving. The generous portion of chips are made to order and the queso is the best I can remember having. The venue isn’t fancy. It has a utilitarian look - but I suspect that is because they put all of their time and resources into the food. I dined in and could easily do so with a group of friends or for an informal lunch with colleagues. It is clear that they do a lot of takeaway and catering business. If you’re looking for a good taco, the Rusty Taco is a great option. A couple of nice pluses include free parking in their small lot. They offer some outdoor tables on the sidewalk. The

Great spot for a quick bite! Service was friendly, fast, and helpful. Good location for watching traffic out the window. The fried cauliflower taco salad was delicious and filling!

The service was odd. I ordered to go and could barely get any help just for picking up my order. I waited for some time just to get some attention. And then the young man who helped acted like he wasn't there to work. Food wasn't bad, there are better options around. But if you really wanting Rusty then this will suit you enough. The crispy cauliflower is definitely delightful. Everything else was pretty ordinary, even the sauces but at least they have options. It helps having diversity amongst something so simple.

They should call the place Cold Tacos. Cuz that's what I got. Cold tacos and a cold atmosphere. The staff was fine, it was a long day and they were just in their work mode, but the vibes of the restaurant were really weird. It was quiet, unwelcoming and pretty empty. Fried shrimp taco was flavorful but cold. Their signature taco, "The Rusty Taco", was just downright bad; the protein was dry, bland, cold and clumsily slapped together with soggy oversized chunks of pineapple. Salsas, while not very spicy, are fresh and tasty enough, albeit a little watered down. Tortillas were serviceable for store bought, my guess would be La Perla. I would definitely come back for a cauliflower taco! It was scrumptious, freshly prepared, vegetarian and by far the best taco I tasted during my visit. All told, it is a miss. Bastardized "street tacos" at a gentrified price point.

Unfortunately, we never get a correct order from this location anymore. It used to be great but they never remove tomatoes from part of the order, tortillas are usually wrong, and today we had the most overcooked chips imaginable. At least the queso was good. We liked this location because it was so close to where we live, but now I think we won't be going back.
