Definitely worth trying! We passed through the area and found this charming place over the weekend. It was warm and welcoming. We worried it wouldn’t be child friendly because of its cute artisan look and bar vibe but it was. The kids enjoyed crayons and paper games and we enjoyed a holiday drink while we waited. There was no crowd as it was early but the food did take a little while to come out. We always try the wings wherever we go so we ordered spicy wings and brunch pizza. The pizza was SO GOOD!!!! Do not be put off by the egg on top, it was so worth it! The crust has such a delicious crisp to it. The wings were definitely spicy as listed! However it was more of a spice and less of a flavor, as if they were just tossed in very spicy hot sauce. Try them if you’d like a kick! The staff was very kind and sociable, wishing us happy holidays which always leaves a good impression. Overall this is certainly a place to try if you’re in the area. We will be back for sure!
Party of 4 dining in. Staff poured our water before seating us. The atmosphere and ambience was very nice. Bathroom was clean. We ordered pizzas: The Spring, Margheritaville and Vodka Pie. Everything was delicious and made to order. I loved the asparagus on the Spring. The gluten free crust on the Marghertaville was crispy and delicious. The spicy margarita and coconut cooler drinks were everything I expected and more!
We ordered three pizzas (one kids cheese) and all three were delicious and well made. The crust was perfectly crunchy and flaky. I can't speak to the rest of the food but I can see they know what they're doing.

The 16 ounce beers are around 12 ounces. Order a 16 ounce draft and 16 ounce can and you’ll see. Same glass is used for both but the can contents won’t fit in the glass. Several ounces left in can after filling glass. Food is good. Service is good. Drink selection is good. Menu deception is repulsive. Why not just put 12 ounce on the menu when serving 12 ounces?
Rustico is a place to go when you are craving real Italian cuisine. Conveniently located in the heart of Alexandria, VA. Food is delicious, and highly recommended it to family and friends. A great place for family and for a date night also it is kid's friendly. Parking is available behind the restaurant
Had lunch with a friend. First customers at 1130. Clean. Was seated quickly. Server was very friendly. Ordered the fried chicken sandwich. Bun was very tasty with nice flavor. Coleslaw added a nice fresh taste. Chicken was well cooked. I tried taking a bite but really, it was too large or my mouth too small. So I ate with a knife and fork. The side salad was really good. Not just greens with no flavor or dressing. The house dressing added a great flavor to the side salad. A pleasant surprise.
We ordered a shared appetizer, two pizzas, sargent pepperoni and margharitaville, both very delicious. We sat outdoors to enjoy the summer, the only thing was that there were mosquitos.
