Food is awesome here! Has a great selection of food with unique dishes. We had Drunken Clams with Sausage, Elk loin, Little Italy Pizza, and Bread Pudding Drunken Claims: Very delicious, sauce is on the creamer side. Has a lot going on in the dish with the potatoes, sausage, and flat bread pizza dough Elk: A little sweet and savory. Was cooked very well. Recommend medium rare otherwise meat can get a little tough. Little Italy: Very tasty, can be a little too spicy for certain people but i enjoyed it Bread Pudding: Pieces are big, enough for two people
Rustic Goat in Anchorage, Alaska is a real standout. The staff’s warm hospitality creates a welcoming atmosphere, and the food is absolutely delicious. It’s a fantastic place, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended! Be sure to make a reservation before you go.
Everything we've had at Rustic Goat has been fantastic! The atmosphere is also great. If you are here visiting or just live here and have not tried, definitely give it a chance.
Definitely worth it! Loved all the flavors from the Calamari to the Boson sliders and Espresso Filet. Best part was our Apple Pastry Dessert! Server was excellent!
Perfect place to enjoy a coffee or meal providing perfect plates and service for all. Sit at the bar or dine upstairs or enjoy the balcony. The huge window is perfect for the first snow or to see the possibility of a moose walking by. Local or tourist this place is worthy of as many visits as time allows. Lived down the street for two years, perfect to go option. My favorite stop in the morning for coffee, my favorite stop at night for dinner. Berry blue cheese salad, linguine 100% perfect food and service.
Incredible food, great atmosphere, lovely staff. Wonderful service. We loved everything we ordered. Totally worth the wait, because they can be very busy. Highly recommend making a reservation.
Yum! Fantastic meal! Super flavorful. We visited from out of town and for whatever reason did have high food expectations for Anchorage. Our tour guide recommended the Rustic Goat and we were blown away. The Rustic Goat French Onion burger was perhaps the best burger I’ve ever had…and when coupled with their delicious fries—best meal ever. Highly recommend.
I hadn’t been to this place in about 4 years and couldn’t remember how it tasted so I came back to see if it was good. I have to say, this was not the greatest. The service was absolutely phenomenal, but 2/3 dishes we picked were subpar. The flash-fried calamari was mostly batter than squid and it was very dark. It might just be a personal preference but I like thicker squid cuts and a lighter batter (but it had a fantastic remoulade). The caesar salad’s dressing didn’t taste like anything at all so that was a bummer. But the Little Italy Pizza? DIVINE. One of the BEST pizzas I’ve ever had without a doubt. That was the redemption of the entire meal for sure. Prices for everything were also a bit higher than I would’ve expected.
