The golf course is well kept. There are 3 areas Rustic can give attention to to see significant improvement. First, immediately stop issuing tee time 10 minute apart. The PGA tour doesn’t even send 3 people less than 15 min apart. Course is slower than any other I’ve played. Second, they close the range for half a day TWICE a week, last, they implemented a new program when you MUST give a phone number and email to make any purchase… including range balls or a round of golf. Why do you need that personal information?

If you are a women STAY far far away from this place . Go to Tierra Rejada where it's not a men's club where other golfers are screaming at you when you're on stroke number three on a par 5. I understand everyone wanted to get golf in before the rain came that's why I called three course... before coming to this one . They have no Marshall for when people are screaming at you and making you extremely uncomfortable and saying we'll just continue to hit up on you it's fine everyone was hitting up on everyone on the back nine the guy at the front told me to go back around and play the front again and it's like I'm not going to do that when I'm on hole 14 and all the other people I asked to skip were fine with it the people that ended up behind me we're not even the people that were initially behind me because a lot of people fall off and don't want to deal with trying to fight the daylight or the boggel up that happens at the back 9 on shorter daylight hours with the twilight rates. Even after calling the pro shop and then telling me they don't have a Marshall and me telling them that they were in cart number 2 and 6 they still came up and harassed me or their way of trying to apologize which still came off rude and a sense of harassment when I was told that the person at the front desk would tell them to leave me alone which they did not luckily the group in front of me let me pass them and I just skip the rest of the holes and headed out of there as fast as I could. The front line was nice I got a chip in where I hit the PIN the greens there are crazy they are like nothing I've ever seen and I am from Monterey Pacific Grove where I've seen a lot of golf courses never before have been treated so rudely it's really funny that they have girls in carts handing out drinks but they don't have someone to protect the girls out on the course. It was nice to be fit in I'm always able to get fit in even the Monterey all the time just as a walk-in so that was nice and they had some gloves for women that I bought that were good and I found my swing until I was harassed so much that I was shaking at the end of my golf game on whole 14 being screamed at by the people in card number two and six so I would rather go somewhere that's more accepting of everybody and has proper etiquette and doesn't just scream at a girl by herself I asked everyone that I passed if I could pass they all said I could these people that ended up behind me we're not initially behind me at all I did not stop at the pro shop on the 9th hole like many people do to get lots of beer or whatever the heck they're buying but hey there's a lot more other golf courses cheers

Three stars because the greens keepers have zero chill. For some reason the course isn't tended to from the 18th hole and downwards. The team of green keepers started maintenance at the first tee box with us, at 0620 and followed us for each and every hole. Good times.

Another awesome experience! Great course, awesome set up. So much fun. Just had a few days of rain and you wouldn't have known. Excellent conditions. Staff along the way were awesome as well. Looking forward to my next round.

Beautifully tucked in the canyon. Love all the California native plants surrounding the fairway and the tee boxes. The native environment this golf course is located in is rich with wildlife. As a plant person, I was probably doing more plant and wildlife watching then actually playing. Look forward to going back on playing this course again.

A pretty serene golf course with a super chill vibe and the ambience is always refreshing … great for both beginners and pros… it’s so much fun especially on weekdays

Fabulous course and dollar for dollar one of the best I've ever played. The layout is gorgeous, a great mix of long par 5's & short par 4's. Greens were in great condition, despite being punched a few weeks ago, tee boxes could use some attention though, some were a bit uneven. Pace of play was adequate, teed off around 8am and played in 4:20

As everyone already knows, dollar for dollar it’s the best course in the US. Beautiful layout running up and down a canyon into the foothills of the Santa Susana mountains. Especially nice to play it in winter or early spring when the hills are green. Some fine holes, with one absolutely great forced carry, and the whole course lies gently on the land it occupies. Pace of play isn’t great… took us 4h50 on a Friday afternoon and the course obviously gets a lot of use. But the general upkeep is good, the pro shop is totally adequate and the Works hot dogs in the cafe are juicy and hot. And the course is just so pretty. Can’t wait to come back.
