Beautiful Park! I brought my wife for a Valentine's Day Picnic!(02/14/2023)
It was quiet. The wind was blowing, and the calm current of the river was relaxing. I did jump in the water to test it and I will say it is cold but refreshing! The park is always clean and maintained accept for graffiti on one of the pavilions. All in All...... Great Spot For A Day Out!
*The Flat Ground and Access From The Roads Makes This A Handicap Friendly Spot As Well*
Had picnic dinner with our best friends. Probably last chance to do so before the weather gets too wet/cold for winter. The park is clean and well-maintained, and it is one of our favorite picnic sites. ❤️
The park is regularly checked on by officers, and they are friendly and respectful to the public. I imagine that they only get tough when they need to in order to maintain the rules and keep the peace.
This is a riverside park in Milton, Florida. It is open from dawn to dusk and has 24-hour video surveillance. It offers plenty of watercraft launch points with trailer parking. There are several picnic pavilions, gazebos and park benches, all with a clear view of the water. There is handicap parking and handicap pavilions available.
Absolutely beautiful park thats well taken care of and perfect for a picnic or long stroll along the river. Its fun to watch the boat activity or sit back with book and pass some time. Also a great half mile trail along the river in the back thats dog friendly.
This is a great park with many tables and pavilions, two boat ramps. Many tables under tree cover. I have read that the porta potties are less than wonderful, but haven't tried them. It is so relaxing to sit along the Blackwater with the cooler weather!
Nice park. Great facilities. Lots of places to picnic and easy access to launch your kayak or canoe
Nice place, good fishing, has porta potties, boat launch, electricity. Only missing grills & drinking water-the area before the park is DANGEROUS the homeless people there will threaten to shoot you if you don't give them DRUGS I will not spend the night there
Nice place to cool off for the kids & big open area with tables and coverings.
Portable toilets also !

AWESOME!!! Had the Myrtle Burger. Was juicy, well seasoned, and DELICIOUS, paired with the sweet potato fries. Cooks had the burger up faster than fast food, brought it right to me. The juice from the burger was so good I soaked my sweet potato fries
Great little hike for a family. Short, and trails can get muddy after rain. Beautiful area but you will drive through a neighborhood to arrive, so it can seem like you're going the wrong way, but Google Maps directions are accurate.
Talking points:
Good service, few employees, friendly atmosphere, wait for food, food fresh and made to order, delicious, reasonable prices, exclusively outdoor seating, lots of seating, corn hole game, alcoholic beverage options
