Rush Creek Golf Club - Public golf course in Maple Grove - 7801 County Rd 101, USA

Visited from California and was so impressed with the course layout, wonderful greens, plush fairways and overall beautiful golf course. Fun sweeping draw holes to finish out the round was great for someone with a draw swing. Loved this place. Nice bar restaurant that was open until 10 after we finished as well.

Updating my review because I realized I never added photos or words!!!! What the heck. LOVE Rush Creek. Especially as a wedding photographer. Staff is so kind. Everything is on-site you could ever need. Food is always phenomenal. And as you can see - - - the variety for photos all on their property is 10/10. Perfect for a rainy wedding day, a sunny wedding day, a snowy wedding day... All the wedding days. We've been here on the most epically colorful fall day - and we've been here in the middle of thunderstorms. Each event still maintained incredible energy, yielded great photos, and remained properly consistent despite drastically different weather scenarios. That is what you want in a wedding venue! You don't want a place that is only awesome in "perfect" weather. So, if you're considering Rush Creek for any of the reasons listed above - kind staff, wonderful indoor and outdoor options for all weather, great food (+ drink), DOG-FRIENDLY (as you can see from our photos), reliable and great service, and a place with everything on-site (getting ready rooms, ceremony space, cocktail space, etc)..... We had our wedding at Rush Creek and cannot recommend it enough. It exceeded all our expectations! 1. They made planning as easy as possible. Rush Creek seemed to have more included (beautiful bridal & groom suites, beautiful inside/outside area) and as time went on, even more things were included (votives, dessert trays, vases, easels). Every time we asked them about something, it seemed like they responded with “absolutely we can do that!” or “of course you can use that as a decoration. In fact, drop it off before the wedding and we’ll set it up”. Planning a wedding can be so stressful and we were grateful for how helpful they were. 2. They were professional and easy to work with. Our event coordinator, Kendra, was always quick to respond and answer any question or concern that we had. She was always enthusiastic and happy to help. Her experience proved invaluable during the whole planning process. The day we dropped off the wedding decorations, we were late and decided to have lunch at the Highlander but Kendra (though in the middle of another wedding) took the time to make sure that our final questions were answered and made sure we were taken care of at the restaurant. She really worked to make sure the wedding was as stress free as possible and seemed to truly care about us and making sure we could enjoy the day. Literally cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed working with Kendra and the whole Rush Creek team! 3. The venue itself is gorgeous. Walking into the ballroom the day of the wedding took our breath away. Earlier in the week we provided the venue with our decorations and some general instructions for what was to be used and where. We had obviously been to the location before and seen it set up for a wedding, but when it was set up for our wedding it was an amazing sight that we won’t forget. It was exactly how we hoped it would look. The venue also had a variety of different places where we could take pictures both inside and out (in case the weather didn’t cooperate). The ability to take pictures inside and outside was really important, we wanted the natural light and nature-y shots but since we had some family members with mobility issues, we needed nice places inside to take photos as well. Rush Creek really delivered. There are so many nooks and crannies in the building and outside that we could have just spent 10 hours taking pictures in different locations. After getting the pictures back, it reminded me of an English Manor and not just a golf club in Minnesota. We had our ceremony outside, and the golf course in the background is gorgeous. We have received so many compliments on how beautiful of a backdrop that was for the ceremony. We didn’t do any decorations outside because the scenery is beautiful as is. 4. The food was great. Rush Creek has a connected restaurant which did a great job with the food throughout the day- from the special breakfast and lunch menu to late night snacks. There was a variety of options for dinner and late night snacks, and it all turned out fantastic. There were a lot of clean plates at the end of the dinner hour. Even months later we’ve had a lot of guests tell us that dinner was excellent. Their late night snack options (we got pizza), proved to be very popular! 5. Day of the wedding, the staff was helpful and went the extra mile. At the beginning of the ceremony, one of the staff was available to move the bride’s train and cathedral length veil as she turned the corner to walk down the aisle. During the reception the servers were easy to work with and were willing to go the extra mile. We were hosting a specialty drink and at the end of the dinner hour they told us that they were running low on the specialty drink. We asked if they would be able to get more since we were hoping to host it the whole night. Without hesitation they said they’d send someone out immediately to the liquor store to get more. It was clear from that interaction that Rush Creek was committed to doing everything in their power to make sure the night went as planned.

As a wedding planner who has worked at dozens of venues, I always recommend Rush Creek! They have incredible staff who make my job so easy! Every little detail is thought of ahead of time and they are quick to pivot and make everything go smooth! Everything is very all inclusive and they do a fabulous job! Can't wait to work here again!

A lovely golf course view! The food was delicious. I was there for the memorial of an old friend and the food and service was perfect for the occasion The wine selections were limited but good. The experience made a difficult day better.

We had our daughter's wedding here. Absolutely incredible. Amy was outstanding. Everything was perfect. Her staff could not have been more attentive and professional. The food was excellent. It was an amazing experience to work with Rush Creek. Would highly recommend this venue!

Great and very well maintained facility. The staff was also very nice and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Had a golf event that was unique in which you had to fundraise money for the Event host which was Robbinsdale Women's Center RWC....if you got to certain $$$ contributions then you could participate in the mini games during day. I didn't make mini games goal but I still got to golf unlimited holes during day. Also they provided 3 meals, snacks, drinks, and a thank you bag with new FJ polo, socks, umbrella, BOX of Titleist balls, and more. The course was beautiful. Staff amazing. Everything was amazing except the rain that ended golf 30 min early. I can't wait to do event next year and definitely want to go to course again! Recommended 1000000%!!!!!!!!!!
