A must stop when in town. Get cheese right at the factory and if you’re lucky you might get fresh cheese curds made that day. Creamy cheese selections and plenty of picnic or gift options.
Very cool shop lots of goodies and a window to watch the workers very nice customer service and funny thing is I leave here and it was my first time there I will definitely go back
Delicious cheese, wonderful prices, and knowledgeable staff - what more could you ask for? And yes there are free samples 😉
An excellent cheese shop. Prices were good and the staff was super friendly. I would highly recommend you stop here and get some dry jack. Only one other place in America sells dry jack and it's over a thousand miles away in Wisconsin (Willow Creek Creamery). Both places say they are the only one with dry jack, but the recipe is slightly different at both places. (It is a little harder at this location , think parmesan hardness, and it has a rind with a hint of chocolate taste. The other places dry jack was still hard but a little creamy without a special rind. Both are excellent) Definitely some good cheese here and they have a window so you can see them making it. We will be visiting again when we are in the area because the staff is so friendly and we are really into cheese as you can probably tell from reading this review.
Super delicious cheese! Even though they don't give tours they have a window in the store so that you can see into the factory. They will let you try some different cheese and the garlic cheese curds are so good. I bought some and fried them at home. Definitely recommend, especially if you love garlic! I really like their butter too! I'm local so i get to go whenever but It's a fun lil stop especially for tourists!
I always love stopping by Rumiano's for cheese as opposed to the local grocery stores. Their small shopping options also have great variety to choose from. I particularly love when they have fresh curds for sale. "Squeaky cheese". Some flavours and types come and go, and I'm always as to see a favourite of mone leave, but I'll fins new cheeses to like. Love the local places that help other local places by selling their items as well!
Update 2-5-22 They really hurt us today, came from Oregon for some Garlic Habinero Butter, pulled up to the shop happy, ran to the door, CLOSED! The are closed Saturday and Sunday through January and February. Google maps really let us down. I have notified Google of their change in hours but by the time they change it March will be here. Original review, Moved to the area from Wisconsin ( cheese capital of the US). Largely unimpressed with Tillamook products. After another beautiful day at the beach we somehow discovered this place. Bought some garlic cheese curds, very reasonable price! They make them fresh every Wednesday. Huge lovely garlic flavor. Came another time and bought habinero garlic curds, again, HUGE flavor. These curds are better than any curds I ever had in Wisconsin. I just wish they made them fresh everyday. Their pecorino Romano is excellent, they make most of their cheeses but also have cheese made by other producers. Bought their habanero butter on a whim and OMG it’s amazing! They use real garlic not garlic powder. I can’t imagine visiting Crescent city and the beaches and the redwoods without making a stop here. By the way, the staff/owners have always been so nice and helpful. You are all awesome! I look forward to trying more of their products. Can you imagine shrimp scampi cooked in their habinero garlic butter?! Scallops...
If you live here in Crescent City or passing through you MUST stop here. The local cheese shop makes theirs right here! And sometimes what is offers here you can’t get in the stores they sell to. My favorite are the cheese curds or they call it squeaky cheese. These are great to eat on its own or use in a recipe. The customer service is top! And they know what they are talking about. I will purchase my cheese here first.

Honestly walked in not expecting much from this place. Wanted just a quick burger and some fries. However, not only did i receive one of the best burgers i had in this long road trip of mine but also had awesome sweet potatoe fries and onion rings. T
This is a premier surf shop, with a personable, professional, and highly-informed staff. In short, the Local Boys Surf & Skate Shop is pure local Nor Cal stoke, and a higher recommendation is simply not possible for me & my family to give
Stunning scenery and great trails! Beautiful clear stream at the bottom. Road is not equipped for campers, however we did see some smaller RVs that had made it to the Old Grove area.
I wish I had discovered this place sooner! I went for a late lunch and was surprised by the service and the food. The service was amazing and they go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with your time there. And the food was happy food da
A really nice place to stop on our drive into the redwoods. A really busy beach, with lots of campers set up. The weather was really chilly in July so come prepared!
Now I can say I slept with horses in an old corral. (It was grassy.) With a picnic table, potable well water spigot, plenty of space between neighbors, I couldn't have had a better place to pitch a tent on July 4. Fireworks exploded for hours. I did
We absolutely LOVE the Lighthouse Jetty. The lighthouse is beautiful, and they do tours all the way up into it. There are TONS of starfish all over the rocks, insane amounts of little crabs that are all different colors, and a beautiful landscape. We
The food was incredible!! There was so much food and it came quickly. We were both full by the end of our meals I had the quesadilla, and it was loaded with cheese, and the shredded beef and pork were delicious. The burrito was also incredible. The b
