Ruby Tuesday - American restaurant in Amsterdam - 4917 NY-30, USA

Super Monday Lunch. We did the “Monday daily event” for $9.99. What a nice deal. I had the salad bar and smash burger and a Diet Coke to drink (every little bit helps 😬). Everything was great. The service was awesome, our server was super professional and friendly. The salad bar was clean and filled right up with a wide variety of good stuff. The burger came with fries. A+ here at Ruby’s today 👍

Our waitress Amanda was great, we had appetizers and the chicken wings tasted good however very small and you get 8 for $15.99 won't do that again. The celery was bad and we had spinach artichoke dip. 🇺🇸

Update: gave them another try tonight Thursday June 28th. I ordered the coconut shrimp which in my opinion was cooked incorrectly because they were dark brown (see photo) and the coconut burned. I had to TELL someone to replenish the salad bar, which one would think at dinner time things would have been filled. There were not a lot of people there. They did replenish, but the fact they need to be told by a customer is sad. Our waitress was a sweetheart, no complaints there. My dining partner got the pasta dish, which looked very good. So....Hopefully the staff will be checking the salad bar and the cook will learn how to cook fish. Although it is Friday and they advertise fish & chips for $9.99, I was informed they were "out" of them. Mind you it wasn't even 5 PM. I ended up ordering the salmon, which was good, but that isn't the point. One would think an effort would be made to have what you are advertising as a special.

My appetizer was good. I also had the salad bar which was great. I ordered a medium cheeseburger and that's where the problem started. My burger was rare. The middle was actually cool. I mentioned it to the waitress when I was asked if I wanted it wrapped and it was offered for me to have it remade but my husband was already done eating. I wasn't going to sit there and wait for a new one to be made. We asked for the check. Thinking that entree wouldn't be on our check was a mistake I made. I wasn't in the mood to argue. I just left my whole meal on the table and paid the check and we left. Not sure if it was because it was late at night and they were closing in 40 mins and that's why maybe my food was cooked in a rush. I'm not sure but it left me feeling like spending my money somewhere I'm actually gonna get a meal I can enjoy.

Haven’t had Ruby Tuesday’s in years. Wanted to try again. Brought my family out to dinner and my wife requested to see the Gluten Free menu. The waiter told us that it was very outdated and they do not create those dishes anymore. My wife then took my 3 year old son to the bathroom, and there were 3 young, female employees smoking marijuana in the small bathroom. We complained to the manager and immediately left. I will never return here again, worst restaurant experience of my life. Gordon Ramsay couldn’t even save this place. The only plus was our waiter Casey. He should be given a raise.

I wish, I remembered our waitress name she was wonderful. Having 10 people for a party has to be overwhelming but she handled everything wonderful. Drinks and food came out fast attentiveness was amazing. Thank for such great service.

Walked in, as a party of 2 at 6pm. The restaurant was empty, maybe 8 tables total with 2 to 4 people per table (3 tables over by the bar area) to say it was dead compared to other restaurants is a good description. However, the host said they weren't able to seat anyone and when asked why since there was barely anyone there and plenty of tables they said because they were too busy. It was going to be a 20-30 minute wait. Another couple walking in, who they said the same to, said this was the 3rd time in a row it has happened and walked out immediately. We gave a name to wait and be seated but when we saw staff just kind of wandering around and barely any activity (a completely fully stocked salad bar, empty of people) we decided to leave. Very poor.
