Ruby Tuesday - American restaurant in New Castle - 2543 W State St, USA

Went during the late lunch hour. It was quiet, so we were seated quickly, and our server came over in a timely manner to take our order. The appetizers were good. My daughter had the chicken and macaroni and she said it was delicious. My son had the kids' burger meal and he liked it. My husband had ribs, and he liked them. He didn't care for the coleslaw, but he's VERY picky about coleslaw. I had the mushroom burger and it was tasty. I also had a strawberry margarita that was delicious. We all had leftovers because we were STUFFED. In all, it was a great experience and we'll be back. My kids were always stuck on another similar chain restaurant, but my son said this is his new favorite.

My husband and I stopped for a bite on a way home it was about 45 minutes to close so there wasn’t no one in there. The girl who waited on us was nice but not attentive. The prices seemed reasonable but very small portions. The rice was so salty it made my tongue numb. Also they were to lazy to cut up the pepper and onion . When the manager asked how my meal was I told him it was too salty, I thought it was the chicken but he said it was the garlic butter. Come to find out the rice had so much salt on it that it made it a bad experience. My husband had the same rice and his was the same way. I don’t know why the cook would have sabotaged our food because of it being 45 minutes before close because there were door dashes the whole time we were there. Just was a bad experience.

Food was good but portions were smaller than what I recall years ago but I got salad bar so I could fill up on that, I would not have been full on meals alone, even the steaks looked small. Bill was $94 for 3 meals, salad bar, dessert, extra sides, 3 drinks so that’s not bad at all compared to everywhere else. I made the mistake of drinking my raspberry tea before the meals came out and therefore had to eat with no drink until I was almost done when the server got refills. On a Saturday night she appeared to be the only waitress, there was a few helpers but I could see her running around alone and busy, so I wasn’t going to tell her she got me the wrong dessert or it would have nice to have more drink refills, and steak sauce, etc. It looked like 1 hostess and 1 server for the whole dining area and then the bar area had several workers. I would have given a higher tip if we would have just been acknowledged more to meet our needs but she was super nice. I actually had quit attending here for many many years because I had a Mother’s Day buy one get one free coupon that wasn’t honored by the waitress at the time after we discussed it and ordered she brought the manager over and I had to pay full which back then in 2005, it was like $20/person. So I feel like the prices haven’t really gone up which is amazing but the portions are half of what they used to be. Quality of food alone was top notch and would have been nice to receive the dessert I actually wanted, I have always loved the raspberry tea with the real raspberries! Finally, I like the remodel it’s very cozy

Great food, large portions and an amazing salad bar with items not found on other bars. Our server, Felicia was fantastic! She went above and beyond normal good service!

Went to pick up my food and had to wait an additional 45 minutes ! Got home and realized they gave me ribs instead of steak … top it all off I cut up the boneless wings only to find out it was RAW so immediately threw all my food away… I went back to the restaurant to get my money back an they couldn’t so they took my info an said they’ll call the next day …. No call so I went up to see what was going on (dialed wrong#) so they said someone would reach out … it’s been over a week now … No call or any type of refund/coupons !!!

If I could give them 10 stars I would! First off the food was amazing. I met the manager Jared the other day when i stopped in and they were all extremely kind to me! They are very personable and welcoming here at this Ruby Tuesdays in Newcastle! I highly recommend stopping here if you are new to the area or just driving by you should get your food here! Amazing service and excellent food. Thank you Jared I will be back to eat here soon!

We used to eat at this restaurant all the time, but quit coming in because of many different issues. We decided to give them one more try today and were VERY glad we did! Felicia did a great job serving and was very helpful with my food allergy issues. Everyone, from the host, to the bartender, and the server were all friendly and helpful. The food was very good, especially the glazed salmon and the salad bar, which was full and very fresh. I got one of the new 'smashed burgers' which was very tasty. The manager stopped by to check in on us, which we have never had happen at this restaurant in the past. The entire crew is new, even the manager, and they are all trying to erase the bad memories many of us have of this restaurant resulting from poor prior management. We'll DEFINITELY be back again!

Was a perfect storm. Food was bad and service was bad. Placed our order only to find out 20 minutes later that the dish I ordered was sold out. Ordered an appetizer to share, no plates brought to the table for each person, had to ask for plates. I ordered a new platter with tots. My food came with fries. Since I ordered late due to original order being sold out, they held the other orders until mine was ready. When the food came, the other orders were cold. Had a family member join us late, she ordered tomato soup, they brought her broccoli cheese soup. Then waited another 20 minutes for the correct soup to arrive. Shook it all off. Manager came to our table and happen to ask how our dining experience...so we told him. He offered no compensation for our experience but did offer to tell us most of his staff is new and they were not expecting a busy night. We are pretty easy going people, I just hope they can get their business figured out. Will not be returning anytime soon.
