Ruby Tuesday - American restaurant in Silver Lake - 5218 College Rd, USA

We have always loved Ruby Tuesday’s when we lived in Florida and Alabama. We live in Leland,NC now and went to Wilmington,NC yesterday for dinner for the salad bar. We got there and they were two cars in the parking lot and I thought that was odd since it was around 3:30 or 4 in the evening. We went in and waited about 5 or so minutes to be seated and she took ur drink order. I went to the salad bar 3 different times because that is what I came for, but it didn’t have much to offer so I ordered a ribeye steak, loaded potato and broccoli. My steak might have been a 1/4 inch thick if that, I ordered it medium but it came out almost rare, the potato had a spoon of butter in it that wouldn’t melt and my broccoli was yellow and green. I understand why they didn’t cook my steak the way I wanted because when it started cooling it was very tough. The place was dirty and I looked for the health department grade but didn’t find it. Our seats had a large amount of sand and dirt in it, the windows were dirty and so were the blinds. I started to just walk out and I wish now we had. Our bill was $46. For a burger and my dinner. So sad because we have always loved them.

Don't really have much to say about this. Online order, had no bacon and differently temp cooked patties. Order came with 1.5 cookies.

First time at this location. The place needs updating. Some of the seats have rips and tears. Not enough servers here either the place was at the most 25% capacity but took the only server se time to get to me. I wanted the fish and chips but were put at 3:50 PM ordered the burger at 9.99. I agree with the reviewer who commented about the salad bar. I don't see $13.99 value for the "endless salad bar" . Ordered a seltzer with looks like old limes. This was the cheeseburger special. What do you think? Second time at this location. $6,49 Grilled fish special with French fries and seltzer with limes. Much better price and quality. Better experience.

We ended up here tonight after atrocious service somewhere “fancy” downtown where we didn’t get past one drink before closing out and leaving. It was quite slow when we arrived at Ruby’s (off season) but the staff was all very friendly, efficient and gracious. Salad bar was well stocked and clean. Our cocktails were delicious and we both sampled each other’s meals. We loved every single bite. The server was very personable and genuine and the manager stopped by and even gave us a free app card for our next visit! Every meal I’ve ever had here was hot, fresh and delicious. The prices can’t be beat either. I think this will be one of our go to spots from here on out. Thank you to all of the staff for your hospitality.

Seriously disappointed. I have visited Ruby Tuesday's many times over the years. I love the salad bar and their menu has something for everyone. The past few times I've been to this location I felt like it was fading. It just felt old and run down. I was hugely disappointed that they were out of the homemade croutons on the salad bar. It sounded like they had been out for a while which was surprising as I felt like that was a signature item. The bathroom was disgusting. It looked like it had not been cleaned in over a day. It made me feel sick to be in there. 🤢 The only reason why I didn't go with one star was because the server was nice and the salad bar stayed clean.

We were so surprised. Horrified and will never order here again. We ordered 2 meals that came up to $100. The fries were a side smaller than my palm and the the stake and portions weren’t as stated.

My experience at this Ruby Tuesday location has me turned off completely. I will never visit this location again. The staff, including the manager doesn't know the meaning of hospitable. I went to the bar to pick up my order and was ignored for almost 10 minutes. I made a point to see how long it would take for someone to acknowledge my presence at the bar. I ordered salmon, mac & cheese and grilled zucchini for my daughter and I ordered a steak, baked potato with butter and sour cream and grilled zucchini. My steak was tough and cold, (ordered it medium). My potato had no butter or sour cream and seemed like it was cooked like an afterthought. My daughter's meal was even worse. Mac & cheese wasn't edible and the salmon wasn't much better. How the hell do you mess up shells and cheese? I used to enjoy this location, but between the horrible food, worthless staff including the salad bar witch, I hope this place closes down.

We enjoy going to the Ruby Tuesday Monkey Junction location because it close to our home and the service is great. Laurie is pleasant and seats us quickly. She is good at telling us about any new items on the menu. The food and drinks are good.
