Great service and food even on a very busy day. We were seated very quickly by the friendly host and our order was taken once we were ready. The appetizer of French Toast Bites was very tasty. The fried chicken and pancakes were also perfectly cooked and seasoned. Tasty cocktails and coffee. Enjoyed the lively atmosphere and ambiance.
We were disappointed in some items. My daughter ordered the salmon avocado toast and it stated the salmon was smoked but it came grilled/blackened. My biscuit was very doughy and not brown at all. They took them both back and I received a cooked biscuit and my daughter ordered the BLT. The fried green tomatoes were the BEST! My grits had cheese but it didn’t melt because the grits were not hot.
My husband and I each had the Southern breakfast. We added goat cheese to our grits. Everything was delicious!! The eggs were cooked to each of our requests. Our friends ordered the French toast and omelette. They too were happy with their choices. Our server, Monica was wonderful. Despite being very busy she had a continuous smile and was responsive to our needs. We only spent one day in New Orleans and three separate people recommended this restaurant. They were spot on. Fabulous food and service!!! In fact, it’s the best breakfast I’ve had in years!! Really.
OMG the food here was delicious. My chicken and french toast bites were absolutely the best thing I had in town. They were the perfect crunchiness, sweetness, and a little spicy. I've never had something quite like them and I was in love. The candied bacon was also very very good. The prices were mostly reasonable, except avoid the overpriced tiny fruit cup. The mimosa flight was also very fun, and encouraged me to try some new flavors. The server was average: stopped by occasionally, and forgot that I asked for the sauce on the side. But I'd definitely return if I were in town again.
This place was recommended by several people at the hotel I am staying at. The ambiance was great and everyone seem to be having a great time The service was very good and our waitress was very friendly. The food was good, I would not say out of this world, but it was good. I got the trifecta and it was a lot of food. I really liked the fact that you get their most popular options. That was awesome.because the strip one was ok, and the pork one (middle) the pork was over cooked and dry. However the chicken one at the end was VERY good. Highly recommend that one. The beignets were very interesting. They were crispy, dense and fluffy all at the same. I would recommend them if you want to enjoy something sweet with your local coffee. Over all a great experience and would definitely recommend it.
Stopped in for breakfast on our first morning in New Orleans. I got the Florentine omelette with gluten free bread and the iced vanilla spice latte. My husband got French toast. Everything was delicious. The restaurant was busy but we were sat quickly and our food came out timely. Our server was very friendly. Definitely recommend for a delicious breakfast spot.
We loved this place so much, we came back twice! The brunch is excellent here. Definitely do the wait list if you can, check it when you are getting ready and plan it from there. If it's a longer wait, walk around some and explore and make your way back closer to the end of the wait. I wish I could have the vanilla iced coffee everyday ☕😍
So, I took a trip to New Orleans for the 1st time to visit my niece and her beautiful family and it was suggested to try this one cafe out if I wanted some good brunch type of of time. I accepted the suggestion , came here, ate, and left fully loaded and unbalanced due to the strong drinks and amazing food. I can see a stark difference in how deep southern cuisine variates from East, West and Northern states. The food here hit my palate with essentials variants of flavor, spices and herbs giving the taste of Creole essence. I highly encourage others living here or visiting to definitively consider coming to this highly vibe atmospheric restaurant!

Great restaurant in the quarter, off the beaten path with fresh, delicious food. House blend coffee is incredible, the menu is mostly breakast and it's very good.
