Amazing Food & Service I visit this restaurant frequently and the food is always tasty, prices are fair, and the portions are large! Service is awesome and Janie is the best! I always look forward to my time here. If you have not checked this place out than you definitely should!

I regret to inform you of the numerous issues I encountered during my recent visit to your restaurant. The overall quality of the food and dining experience fell well below acceptable standards. I hope that by providing this feedback, the necessary improvements can be made to enhance the overall customer experience. Here are the specific concerns I would like to address: Food quality: The quality of the food was extremely disappointing. From uncooked eggs and a rare burger when I had ordered it medium-well, to ants found in my Mountain Dew, sour and burnt coffee, and stale pie, the culinary experience was far from satisfactory. Hygiene and cleanliness: The lack of cleanliness was evident throughout the establishment. The presence of mold on the walls in the eating area and the sour and moldy "home" fries indicate a lapse in hygiene protocols. Additionally, the plates were not adequately cleaned, which further detracted from the dining experience. Unprofessional behavior: The ambiance of the restaurant was compromised by the audible yelling and cursing coming from the kitchen. This unprofessional conduct is not conducive to a pleasant dining environment. Pesticide spraying: I was alarmed to witness a pesticide personnel spraying chemicals in and around the tables while I was dining. This not only raised concerns about the safety of the environment but also had a negative impact on the overall dining experience. Service quality: The waitress we had was notably rude, which detracted from the overall experience and left a lasting negative impression. Gravy consistency: The gravy served was excessively thick and pasty, indicating a lack of attention to detail in food preparation. In light of these issues, I strongly urge you to consider a thorough assessment of your restaurant's operations and seek necessary improvements. It is my sincere hope that these concerns are addressed promptly to ensure that future patrons can enjoy a positive and satisfactory dining experience at your establishment.

Service, food and portions were awesome. Not a lot of room to sit for parties over 4, but it's definitely worth the wait for 1 of the 2 larger tables. Bar service is available and quick. Recommend the Ruby's breakfast platter..comes with eggs,pancakes,hashbrown and bacon or sausage.

We absolutely loved breakfast! Kids shared a two chocolate chip pancakes & two eggs combo, I had two eggs (poached) and toast. Debbie was wonderful! After we finished our meal she brought out a candy bowl for each kiddo to have a piece. Made our morning! The definition of home style comfort food. Benches are worn down to the plywood in an authentic way.

My favorite place to eat in Mon County. The staff are very friendly and the prices are very low despite the current inflation. That, combined with the portion sizes, makes this place a delight to eat at.

Don't let the photos on this thread deceive you. I ordered the fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and Mac and cheese. I was served sour potatoes, that were so inedible that I threw up and my husband spit them out before he threw up. The macaroni and cheese was out of a box and not at all the homemade pasta they describe it as, and the fried chicken was so burnt I barely got enough meat off it to fulfil a two year olds appetite. My husband's breakfast was okay, but the pancakes were burnt and bland. We're very easy going people, as food is our love language, but if I could throw all of this back up, I definitely would. I'd rather eat gas station sushi than go back to this place. We also hard the very rude brown haired waitress, who seemed over stressed so we still left a decent tip. This restaurant is not worth the 35 dollars I spent on it.

Quaint down home dinner. All staples available from country fried steak to biscuits and gravy. All food was tasty and the price was more than reasonable. Staff friendly and courteous. We've been on a road trip for over a week now and have been looking for a family owned restaurant instead of a big chain. Found it in Ruby & Ketchy's. If you're in the area you'd be missing out if you didn't stop in.
