Ru San's - Japanese restaurant in Atlanta - 1220 Caroline St NE A 200, USA

I absolutely LOVE Ru San's! This is a good choice for a family outing or a date night. I love their sushi. The only issue was I ordered an alcoholic drink that tasted like it didn't have ANY alcohol in it. Not even the slightest buzz. I understand they're made with Sake so I guess that's why. Do yourself a favor and throw a shot or 2 of liquor in your purse, then order a soda and spike it. Don't tell nobody I told you that though 🤫😂

The food was fresh, hot and yummy. The charge for every little thing like teriyaki sauce. Serious I'm ordering fried rice. Why isn't that a free choice? $2 for one extra egg. That's a whole carton. My geesh. They automatically tip 20% for just 2 people sitting at the table. 2 people 20%. I've loved this place over the years but the force for tips. I definitely can go elsewhere. I hate feeling forced. That's more than tithes.

I understand restaurants are down bad financially but the fact that the manager attempted to call the police on me for not wanting to pay for 15$ flash-frozen shrimp fried rice is out of hand. I took three bites and realized the food wasn’t freshly prepared or of suitable quality. The photo above is what I did not eat and what I left in the restaurant. Keith Lee said it the best… Atlanta restaurants have a long way to go across the board.

I had an amazing experience at this sushi place tonight! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they went out of their way to make sure I had a great meal. They made excellent recommendations for food, and I loved the fun and interactive way they communicated the best dishes to try. The drinks were also fantastic, and really complemented the food perfectly. The atmosphere was lively and fun, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. I would highly recommend this sushi place to anyone looking for a delicious meal and a great night out!"

Me and my friends enjoyed the food. They don't eat raw sushi so they ordered cooked ones.

Today I came here with my sister after having a long day of travel, we decided to come to one of our favorite restaurants, but after today I’ll never come back, the waiter rushed us soooo much to the point she forgot our sake, we had our entree before our appetizer, we got our sake at the end of our meal when we would of prefer it before, then she just came off super condescending to the point I just felt uneasy, she charge me for sauces she didn’t mention she would, I just hope Devyn understand no one wants to be rushed when their sitting for service, especially ones who has been coming to rusans for over 9 years… never judge a book by its cover.. sad to say that when she seem like a woman of color. We never gave her attitude we just told her thank you, we know being a server can be hard

We were so pleasantly surprised at how great this little neighborhood joint is! Stopped in on a rainy night for a few rolls, Super friendly/prompt staff, cute atmosphere, very casual. We got the sushi appetizer, a few rolls, and yakisoba noodles. Everything was delicious, big portions for the price. The sushi was fresh and tasted great. This will be our new go-to spot!
