The food was phenomenal even though it was pricey. The chefs and kitchen staff are very skilled and consistent. The only issue we had was the speed of the service. We felt like we were waiting for our entrees for 15-20 minutes longer than we should have been. The food seemed to be a bit colder than we felt it should have been. We went on Thanksgiving so they may have been overwhelmed with the amount of Turkey that they had to prepare. We had ordered the Crispy Tofu and Pork Belly which were both delicious and tender. The flavors complimented each other really well. I would dine here again possibly during less busy hours.

Fantastic setting. Come early and sit out by the fireplaces and if you get there around sunset you can watch the bagpiper play. Wonderful restaurant and fantastic food. Good ambience. Parties of more than six. You should definitely do reservations and plan ahead.

We were there for a late lunch around 2:30 pm and they are still open. Ordered the bento with their famous miso butterfish and it was an incredible deal! The salad, Tuna sashimi, Fried calamari, furiake rice, miso seaweed soup, misoyakin butter fish. Lakanilua roll with real crab and a5 wagyu seared on top with avocado and asparagus tempura and unagi sauce was delicious. They gave a special chocolate birthday cake with ice cream and chocolate sauce for my husband which was a really nice gesture! Cassandra and Steve were awesome server and we really enjoyed the recommendation and service by them.

What a view! The scene is hard to describe- heaven on earth. Ocean view, fire pit and the golf course. Delicious food- everything we tried was amazing 🤩 the octopus is a MUST TRY! The wine - sauvignon blank, new Zealand 🇳🇿- 🥰🥰🥰🔥 and the banana desert was yum!

They were two restaurants Spanish Bay we met one of the employees and he explained Roy's was a little more casual type food and he was right. After looking at both menus this was the perfect pick and for us glad we went here. We had tempura vegetables for our appetizer which came with carrots and asparagus and other different vegetables but had never had asparagus with tempera veggies to say the least they were perfect perfectly cooked so good and the sauce with them was excellent. We both had iced teas which was good. My main course was pork fried rice and my thought it was going to come like Chinese for fried rice wood not at all it had a pulled pork on top of a tower of fried rice it was so tender and so delicious I was amazed I had to push myself away so I wouldn't eat too much and there was a lot two or three people could have ate off my plate. My wife had the ginger soy marinated teriyaki chicken which was also amazing so tender and juicy. It was our 35th wedding anniversary on October 8th and we started talking to a couple right next to us and their anniversary was on the exact same day just 3 years earlier. When the wait staff heard they brought us over a beautiful dessert that said happy anniversary. The people there were so wonderful The service was fantastic we even had a little bunny come up on the grass to the side of us why we were eating they have a big piece of glass that keeps the wind from hitting you from the ocean while you're eating out on the beautiful patio. It is a definite must go to and eat while you're down there you will definitely enjoy it I guarantee you.

Was here in July 2023. The location is in the Pebble Beach Links hotel area. Faces the sea and the views are incredible. Be mindful outside seating can be chilly depending on the time of the year, and also grey/foggy due to the micro climate of the region. As far as Roys goes, this one is definitely a great one to visit. Iconic in many ways. The food is excellent. The service equally great. Reservations required if you want to get into the area past the 17 mile drive gate. Outside seating has heaters and fire pits, but can be chilly. Definitely visit worthy. Would definitely stop in again.

Have gone to Roy's many times over the years. Have had breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food has always been excellent if you like Hawaiian fusion. One item that we always get is the tiger shrimp & beef spring roll appetizer. I've posted pictures of the spring roll, original blackened rare ahi, bento box. You may see a celebrity as well . One time, three tables away was Alecia Keyes and family.

It was a long time between my visits to Roy’s and I was pleased with the experience. Maybe I changed, or maybe Roy’s changed, or perhaps it was the company. In any case we had a great evening. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the low noise level allows for a wonderful group dining experience. Dress was pretty casual. No need for gentlemen to wear a jacket. We chose to order appetizers and dine tapas style. All of the food was excellent. We loved the grilled octopus and ordered a 2nd plate. The wine list is good and the desserts are a ‘must try’ We loved it enough that we are going back next month.

Beautiful place and a beautiful walking path. Parking was easy in and out. The "ghost trees" seems like a failed attempt at increasing tourism. The trees seemed like typical cypress, which are always beautiful. The view of bird rock was nice.

It is a very beautiful place. The drive is easy, and they reimburse the entrance if u eat at one of their restaurants. If u like golf, it is a winner, but get ready to spend a pretty penny

Amazing point to stop with a lot of good views and history behind it. Can easily park there and there is an overlook spot, but the view is probably a little better from the higher point. Really liked this at sunset and the view is unbelievable
