I have been to the Roycroft in for Brunch many time over the years and have always enjoyed the atmosphere and food, but this most recent visit was the worst I have ever had an almost makes me never want to return. First off when we arrived at our reservation time we were basically ignored by both the host and hostess then when somebody finally decided they're going to help us they then disappeared and didn't come back for close to 15 minutes. Then after we were sat in a far corner we were basically ignored by the wait staff for the rest of our time. We had to ask multiple times for tea and coffee an the only reason we actually were able to get refills on coffee was because the one waitress left a craft of it on a nearby table that we had to retrieve ourselves, as far as tea i was never ask nor had the ability to ask anybody for more hot water. When we went to get our food we ended up having to wait around for quite some time as there no plates for the buffet. Then a lot of the food we were getting was either lukewarm or cold.

Our server David was fabulous! Professional yet friendly with great recommendations! He handled our dietary restrictions with ease and expertise. He represents the true Roycroft spirit!

Amazing brunch! There's a great variety of food choices for the buffet. All the homemade options are delicious and also made to order omelets. A huge thanks to our waiter Dan he was awesome! We are already planning another visit for burger night.

Went here for Sunday brunch. Beautiful place. Upscale brunch. Not the cheapest, but the food is fantastic, a string quartet, and a lovely atmosphere. Fine dining meets Sunday brunch. We frequent often and will continue. Highly recommend.

My husband made dinner reservations for my birthday. We've never been here before but we will be back for sure! My husband ordered an Old Fashioned and I got this fancy coffee drink. Both were delicious! We started with the goat cheese appetizer which was so good and we ordered the ribeye steak for dinner. The steak was cooked PERFECT all the way through! Highly recommend this place for dinner.

Some hotels describe themselves as historic, which is accurate in the sense that they are older, vintage properties. But how often do you get to stay at one that is genuinely historic? One that is a mix of a real arts movement and modern convenience? One that is genuinely attractive?||We've stayed at hotels all over the world, and this one rises to the top. The Inn itself was part of the Roycroft Campus. If you are a fan of either Frank Lloyd Wright or the American Arts & Crafts movement, this is a kind of Mecca. The founder, Elbert Hubbard, was the original salesperson for the Larkin Soap Company (which built a sadly now-demolished FLW office building, and also employed Darwin Martin, of the FLW home in Buffalo).||The Inn reflects many Arts and Crafts elements. The lobby has 16 or so murals of sights around the world. Much of the decor and furniture are in the Arts and Crafts style. Seriously, how many times have you stayed at a nice hotel with real oak floors, molding, and ceilings? Our room had Stickley quarter-sawn oak furniture. ||Modern elements blend in with the traditional. Wi-fi is included in the price (as it should be) and we had a flat panel television. The bathroom was in an Arts and Crafts style, although modern as well.||A continental breakfast in the dining room is included. ||Many of the reviews on this site blend the hotel and its restaurant. You don't need to do both, but we would recommend them both, as both take advantage of the site's history and beauty. The Roycroft Campus itself is just across the street.||This is a special place that blends its genuine historical associations with a comfortable and unique hotel. We'll need to find an excuse to come here again.

We spent a lovely, relaxing three days in East Aurora at the Roycroft. With its Arts and Crafts style rooms and furniture, the Inn has such a calming effect that we both wanted to move in permanently. The wood millwork and furniture feels closer to nature and the design harkins to a slower time and more gracious age. I am drawn to return again and again. One suggestion: the food could be improved slightly, especially the breakfast, which is almost shockingly below grade. I can overlook this because the overall effect is comfort, luxury and a return to a more genteel time.

The beautiful Roycroft Inn fits perfectly into the East Aurora neighborhood. There’s plenty of seating available with excellent service. We started with the Bisque and weren’t disappointed. I had so much lobster in mine! Our Short Rib dinner and Sea Scallop dinners were outstanding! It wasn’t our first time, and it won’t be our last!

Super scenic and range of landscapes. Lots of trails, but the markings/maps there aren't great. I would recommend pulling up one of the online maps that are available online. 100 percent worth going though, and the paths are pretty interconnected so
