Royal Waikiki Condos - Hotel in Honolulu - 2240 Kūhiō Ave. APT 1503, USA

Stayed here for a week end of January Condo was very clean and everything worked. Staff and security were friendly & very helpful. Lost my drivers license in parking garage upon arrival. It was my only photo ID I had. You need photo ID 4 many activities on island not to mention airport.Was really stressed about it. Sure enough next day security had found it & saved me a lot of headaches. For the price and amenities( pool,free parking) u cant beat it. Location is perfect not 2 close 2 congestion of waikiki beach but close enough 2 enjoy it. Will definitely be back🐙

I didn't make the reservations as a friend was in charge and booked it based on it's location and cost. We were attending a college graduation in town that week. The 1 Bedroom condo was more accurately a studio that had an accordion partition that could be closed between the living room and the "bedroom" the issue then was that anyone sleeping on the sofa sleeper had to move the partition if they needed to get to the bathroom. The condo and the building were clean. Parking was an extra charge per day of $30 which seemed odd to me since I would think every unit should have a parking space. The laundry facility was very good and the workout facility appeared nice. The entire 7th floor is a recreation area, including the outdoor pool, workout room, laundry area, outdoor small play area, grilling area and lots of sunning area. Down side of the recreation area is there is a constant wind (not breeze) that blows across the entire area making using the pool often chilly. The pool area gets sun only part of the day because of the surrounding building locations. Since it is not a hotel, there is no "front desk" and the check in procedures appeared to be cumbersome, though my friend handled that part. The kitchenette in the condo unit had a full sized stove, good sized refrigerator, microwave, decent storage in the cabinets and adequate kitchen furnishings like plates, pots and pans, etc. Overall not bad and if saving money is the most important thing then this place could be the place for you. Not sure I would stay again as I prefer to have more sun by my pool and access to a hot tub.

Location is great, extremely convenient. But not being informed before booking that the pool was drained was more then disappointing. Also, not being informed ahead of time that there is zero house keeping during our 7 day stay was irritating. 2 sets of towls, (one set of beach towels) for a week. $90 to have new ones/someone come to the room. Crazy for the $ spent. Towels get dirtier quicker when you're at the beach every day.

The security here treat people badly. It's as though they hate being there. Beware if you have to ask them for anything. Edit: (response to owner) we stayed here, absolutely, it wasn't under my name. Also you didn't even care to reply to your staffs behavior? Proves how you feel about customer service.

Amazing location, beautiful views. Shame that security and management ruin it all. You’d be lucky if you bump into Emory, Wayne or the guard that stays overnight (don’t know his name), they’re the best! They’re the only security guards that look at you in the eye and are helpful when you need them. The rest of them, the worst! Rude and bad professionals, make you feel uncomfortable just by sharing the room with them. The assistant manager, also one of a kind. He’ll just talk to you to complain. If he has nothing bad to tell you… he won’t even say hi. Wonderful environment, yes… But again, if you can avoid dealing with any of those specimens, the actual apartments are great, the views are amazing and people living there are wonderful! Also, from time to time there’s problems with stray roosters singing at 3.00am. But earplugs are a good solution for it!!

First time in Hawaii, we look for non hotel with free parking to stay. Then we dont just cramped in a small hotel. room. This is perfect place for us. The condo unit has a full kitchen with essential gear ( not that I will cook but love the full size fridge that I store diff Hawaii juice/ beers plus bottle water). The condo unit is very clean and roomy with balcony. The building itself is kind of dated but clean, so it does not bother us at all. Not sure why people complain about the pool.. the beautiful, crystal clean Waikiki beach is in walk in distance.. this place is so convenient, reasonable, clean and nice staffs. We will stay here again. Aloha!

Start out with an odor when you walk in the door of the room. The pool is still under construction in January of 2022. However no work was being done the whole time we were there. The entire 7th floor is supposed to be common area. The pool was still blocked off and the rest of the outside area was dirty and littered with trash and bird droppings. The laundry area also had a bad smell to it. The customer service here really needs training on how to talk to customers without coming off as rude and short. This is by no means a luxury property and not worthy of the price they charge.

I was 11 days in this hotel, super close to everything, shops, beach, restaurants, church, very central ... Highly recommended ... very friendly staff Super friendly. I felt well received and well cared for. I had room cleaning only once, they left me enough towels. The cleaning staff is very professional. The only thing that disappointed me was the pool and the recreation place ... this is my third visit to Oahu and it is my third time at this hotel. If I return to Oahu I will definitely return to this Hotel. Thank you
