I visited India 6 times. 6 months each year. Three years all together. This restaurant is an absolutely beautiful place - Remind me - amplified food. From this beautiful country. Amazing test! Very balanced ! Deep adventure. Close eyes, and you're back to India.

I recently visited Royal Taj and had an exceptional dining experience. The Paneer Tikka was perfectly grilled, offering a delightful blend of spices. The Veg Pakoda was crispy and flavorful, showcasing the chef's expertise. To top it off, the tea was truly amazing, providing a refreshing and aromatic finish to the meal. The overall ambiance and service added to the pleasure, making it a memorable dining outing. Highly recommend!

Best Indian Restaurant in Santa Cruz. High Quality food with great hospitality and wallet friendly restaurant with nice vegetarian options and non-vegetarian options as well. Worth the money you spend at this place you will never be disappointed. Feel like eating at home. Liked the a-la-carte with entree option. Amazing.. Thank you Royal Taj and its crew. Update Came again with the team and found it the same. Naan and Biryani didn't meet the expectations. I won't recommend Butter Naan & Goat Biryani here. Royal Taj accepted our request and didn't charge for the Naan.

Sunday lunch buffet, 44$ for 2 and a garlic naan to go. Food was good service was good. Buffet for 20$ per person should have a little more selection. Will return and order off menu next time. Butter chicken, tandori chicken and the naan on the buffet were our choices. I may have missed a dish everything was delicious.

Worst Indian food which I ever ate. The food is very bland, no spices at all. Rice is not cooked properly. Not even a single item which was good. The butter chicken had so much colour. I would not recommend anyone to eat it if you don't like bland food. Home made food is far better than this. Not at all worth 17 dollars for the buffet.

Royal Taj is my favorite place to eat. Me and my boyfriend have been looking for a good Indian food restaurant and this is our favorite go to spot. They have great vegan options for him too! They have both great quality food and service! I always recommend this place to friends and family when they come visit in Santa Cruz!

Food is 7.5/10. It has good seating area and parking. The waiters do they job well but can definitely be trained to western standards.

We liked food and service here. Place has good amount of space. Staff was very pro active. I ordered starter over call for dine in. They took order and prepared it till we reach there. We ordered Tea, Paneer Pakoda, Samosa in starter and all items were very tasty. We ordered Dal Makhani and Chapati in main course and it were tasty as well.
