Royal Motel U.S HIGHWAY 61 - Motel in Prairieville - 17797 Airline Hwy, USA

This is the only place I've ever lived where the landlord was so lenient on paying rent and willing to work with me.I give props about that, but trust me.. she means business and your word better be good if you keep saying tomorrow it better be tomorrow. It's so cheap bc she doesn't have available WiFi unless you PAY an extra 20$ (a week, I am only assuming)... I haven't encountered any bed bugs, very very very few roaches... And I've been in 3 rooms in the past few months. Some beds are like a comfy cloud, some are like a rock. Box tvs, or Roku tvs .... Just be grateful bc it's really not bad at all. Much better than outside with the mosquitoes at the abandoned strip club in front the place like where I'm at bc I got kicked out cuz I couldn't pay rent no more after 3 months and got 3 days behind. Now she mad.

Disgusting. Poorly kept rooms and grounds. Repairs are as cheap as possible. Unless you have no choice, I would go somewhere else...in a hurry!! Know around town to be housing many unsavory guests. Dirty, no good, a waste of money. Even for a single night. The first night I stayed, my dog found a piece of a crack pipe. She proceeded to spend the next hour licking her "lips". The following day I was fixing the bed when the remaining piece of the glass pipe fell to the floor. It was in a location the inn keeper should have noticed had she cleaned the room properly. I did not feel comfortable bringing my kids near as the resident hookers enjoyed touching my kids...

Went to show the hotel attendant/owner bed bugs I got off the mattress in our room (14) and they denied it, the man tried to knock the bugs off the page and they refuse to give my deposit back. I told them that was fine, I had video of the bed covered in bugs, the room, and also the hotel itself.

Do Not Stay Here!!!! The rooms are filthy, the owner rents them by the hour, and doesn't even clean them between guests. The mattresses are old and broken down. The rooms are full of bugs. She lies about availability, and is in it just for the money. STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!

Though cheap, this is a older run down motel with a roach problem. It's occupied mostly by the locals, and not the ones displaced from the recent flooding in the area. The room we had was a double but without one of the beds, so there was lots of room. Our bed should have been thrown out too, since I scratched myself on all the springs poking out...not sure there was any material or stuffing left in between the springs. One night only, and we were out of there.

No maintenance done to the rooms, hasn't been painted in a very very very long time it looks as though it is maintained by a slumlord. On the plus side it's very very inexpensive, it's a dry roof and appears to be safe

I have a few different friends live there in a few different apartments. And all ima say is they pay 200 bucks a week to live at the Royal motel .. it like the movie someone motel .. lmao.. u got to luv it ...

It's bottom of the barrel, no frills, and doesn't seem very clean. After checking the place out I found another ace to stay. There is no wifi and there isn't even a phone in the room.
