Royal Motel - Motel in Hermitage - 301 S Hermitage Rd, USA

rooms were very clean, and i don’t know what people are talking about because the owners were very very nice! would definitely stay here again! 5 stars for a 2-star hotel lol

I stayed at the Royal motel for 2 nights. One while driving to New York from Chicago and one night on the way back. Rooms are tidy, check in was easy and its real close to many restaurants, bars, gas stations etc. You could walk most anywhere you need to get to. Owners were nice and sweet people. I’ll stay again next time im headed out east

The owner was extremely rude, I had one towel and there was 2 of us so i had to ring the bell outside for 15 minutes in the rain at 7 pm and asked for a towel, she told me come back in the morning no. So i said “oh other hotels have service all night i didn’t know this was different i’m sorry” and she said “oh we do have it all night” so she just didn’t wanna do it. I had something on my pillow, i asked for a new one and i had to fight tooth and nail for one at all. Ended up driving all the way to Meijers in Ohio in the middle of the night to get one which i believe should’ve been included in service. After 5 pm she claimed no service and any questions or concerns you have to wait till the morning. Online it says check out is 11AM and she told me 9:30AM. I accidentally left my bag and noticed down the street, barely and i turned around while she was cleaning the room and she was going through all my things had them on the floor.

Cozy rooms, lower priced. Near busy road, but everything is nearby. I would stay here again. Good hot water, takes a couple minutes. But I didn't mind. My room was on the end of the building, could have been the reason. Mini fridge and microwave is in the room. Not sure about late night check ins.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Owner is the rudest person I've ever met in my life. Better of going to Econolodge right down the road, that's what I ended up doing.

This place really is outstanding. I don’t normally like having room service and put the no not disturb sign out, but this time i forgot to and they did such a good job i rolled with it. They want you to feel like royalty and in their way they put some class into it. I don’t know how to put it but you could tell when they cleaned they put more into it than you are used to when you stay at a motel. There is well thought out furniture and more than normal. They thought about What someone would need and since i work and live on the road this was very helpful. Ended up deciding to watch the superbowl here and enjoy the space before i move on. The price is very competitive (better than usual) so you don’t expect such nice welcome at the door or while you are staying but they put in that work. Thank you.

Peaceful and quiet and close to Many places to eat or shop. I’ve traveled for many years and finding this gem is awesome. The rooms are spotless and clean, the beds are comfortable and bedding is soft and well kept. The bathroom seems to be newly remodeled and is very clean. Spotless and very clean. The manager is very nice and very easy to talk to. Safety is very nice here as well. The price is incredibly inexpensive and you get safety, comfort and a good nights rest!!

Nothing to write home about but in overall great shape for its age (probably dates back to the 60s). Nice TV, comfortable bed and hot water. A/C kept the room nice and warm (PA is very cold in February). A couple things seemed in disrepair and the door was difficult to lock, but no other complaints really. Definitely worth the nice, low rate!
