Great location, quiet building and easy access to Kamelaole 1 and 2 via a small trail system. Our unit is well stocked and very comfortable. The rooftop patio is the perfect spot to watch the sunset.
Clean, comfy, nice kitchen with everything we needed and well maintained. We enjoyed a cookout on the rooftop one evening and watched glorious sunsets from there. Super snorkel beach where we swam with awesome sea turtles. Great location with shopping and the best shave-ice right across the street! Wish I'd taken more pics of condo, suite mates' rooms and kitchen! All was a nice place to stay and we enjoyed our week.
The best positive of the RM is the location. The other pros are it is situated between two amazing beaches, only steps away. Also, the roof top deck, complementary coffee and tea at certain hours, private pool, beautiful landscaping, and a parking spot are nice too. Cons are it is close to a very noisy street. Our unit didn't have air conditioning so it was necessary to keep the windows open. A trade off to hear the lovely waves!?
Review for unit 218. It's a large, 3 bedroom oceanview condo that looks great on first appearance but is plagued by poor maintenance. The two rooms my family occupied had beds and bedframes in horrible condition. The queen mattress had massive indents from overuse and two of the bedframe wheels were broken off causing the whole bed to lean. The twin beds in the second room were poorly attached to the headboards causing them to squeak every time you moved. My 9yo who sleeps like a rock would complain whenever I moved in the twin next to him (Yes, I slept in the twin because the queen was too awful to sleep on). Other maintenance issues: kitchen faucet is loose and rotates, freezer door closes improperly causing the fridge to run warm, patio door is extremely difficult for seniors or children to open, the barely functional AC units leave the interior rooms feeling humid. By far the largest issue, was that management was notified of the bed issues the day we arrived and failed to do anything useful to fix these beds during our week-long stay (our in-laws are there for another week and haven't reported any changes yet). A building rep observed the bed in poor condition on day two. Management sent another rep two days later - while we were away from the unit - that reported the beds to be in good condition. Communication then happened over email with nothing getting resolved as owner communications were slow. Between management procedures and the owner, this is totally unacceptable for a unit that commands >$10,000 a week in rental income. IMO, a big part of a family vacation is getting some R&R and enjoying the beautiful weather that Maui offers. We thankfully got good weather but with sleep deprivation from a poorly run unit. Edit in response to "owner": Susan, if you accept the positive reviews for other units you should accept the negatives as well. There are no "this is only for unit 119" comments on any 5 star reviews for other units. Additionally, it's misleading to have a whole complex of 80+ units only be tagged in Maps as one unit with one business.
We dont think there is a better condo location in Kihei! We had an ocean facing 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, overlooking Kameole 1 Beach. The views and subsets from our own Lana'i were just breath taking. Any store or restaurant one needs is right across the street. Fantastic place to stay. We will always try to make it back here to the Royal Mauian.
Very nice public beach, lifeguard available. Shops all down the shoreline and easy parking availability
Best place to stay in Kihei. Great pool, right on the ocean, walking distance to two of the best beaches on Maui. The place is well maintained and the landscaping is beautiful. Don't stay here if you can't fall asleep to the sound of the ocean outside your window.
The condo we got was wonderful. Newly redecorated. Location to restaurants and beaches couldn't be any better.
Direct oceanfront condo complex, all rooms have a full, unobstructed, straight-on ocean view. No peaking around the corner or off to the side l to catch it. Nice lush lawn with palm trees is the only thing between you and the magnificent South Paci

First time staying here and I literally almost cried from the beauty of the location. Itâs a nice size condo with direct beach access. Awesome location - close to a grocery store, retail stores and restaurants. Friendly staff and neighbors. I staye

The BEST meals Iâve had in Maui are at Earth Aloha Eats. Amazing plant based options for vegans and non-vegans. Recommend the chickân burger and the pulled pork fries. Gyro is also tasty (but so packed you might not get to actually wrap it). Come
