Royal Inn - Motel in Springdale - 1042 48th Pl, USA

So don’t book stating you have a service aninmal…you will show up to check in and will be spit at and yelled “no dog” and turned away after you have already arriver. If only negative stars could be given..gave a 1 but in reality it’s ZERO stars!!!

Room 116 was clean and serviced daily but is a hodgepodge of used mismatched furniture. The bed mattress was very firm and parts were lumpy. The bathroom ceiling and door have peeling paint and water damage. Amenities included a color TV, single-cup coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge. A stove hood fan and cabinet have been installed (no stove) but are not operational. The hood vent makes tapping noises in the wind. The location is at the end of a dead-end street on a bluff overlooking the freeway with a Foghorns restaurant within walking distance. Overall, the room was clean, quiet, and a good price.

Big Brown Roaches ,it behind expressway. We exited the door quickly. It pays not to be cheap. They need star that say no recommendation.

Please! DONT book a room at this place, I stayed here for one night and couldn’t sleep the whole night because this place is close to Freeways and I could hear semi trucks engine break noise the whole night. The owner was very rude and unprofessional

I stayed here due to last minute stop and the price. Was going to stay two nights but right now I am leaving. Check out is supposed to be at 11 but he just called my room yelling at me to leave early. So that money I was going to spend on about night here is being taken somewhere else. Learn basic business etiquette if you want to keep money flowing.

Noticed roofing shingles missing this old property which is not well kept. Had to check in using what looked like a bullet proof window which you slide your ID under. The window was located outside the lobby, under a drive thru., Felt like I was in the ghetto.||The room had a heavy smell of cigarettes. Bathroom tub had numerous cigarette burns along the top of the sides. Looked like some smokers had placed their cigarettes there while bathing. Can't say how clean the room was otherwise because we didn't stay.||I will say the owners did give me back the NON refundable fees with out any issues. They said I must have clicked on wanting a smokers rooms when I booked online. I didn't but doesn't matter since they still gave the refund. ||It is one of the cheapest in what looks like a great area. So maybe this is what you get for this price range.

I had a reservation and first they called me to make sure I was still coming I confirmed, then when I showed up they ask for my ID then they where so rude they threw my ID and I felt due to my ethnicity being Hispanic they treated poorly, I’m from Texas and I have never been treated this way. I travel due to my work and only reason I was going to stay here it’s due to it’s only 3 miles from the corporate office. But I have never been treated this way, its cold and raining they had no compassion! I would advice this people to have good customer service and appreciate a good customer. I’m so disappointed for being treated this way

It very clearly says (they will probably make adjustments after this is posted) pet friendly. I was not asked when I paid for my stay. I just assumed it didn’t matter seeing as it was advertised as pet friendly. paid for one week at the price of 360 dollars. I stayed one night, and the next morning manager walked into my room after not knocking, and told me my dog had to go or I did. I decided to check out and he only refunded me 180 dollars. Still trying to figure out 1. how I can be asked to leave after you advertise you are pet friendly? 2 how one night cost 180 l, but a whole week cost only 360. They are scammers no doubt about it.
