Royal Inn - Motel in Hickory - , USA

Very rude. Cussed at me and disrespected me. Got mud with my boots and had me clean it up. Be sure to check under the beds for bed bugs and under the microwave for cockroaches. Lots of roaches. He has no respect for people. Do not go here. Some doors didn't have locks most rooms were vacant because they were so disgusting it was not available. Trashed microwaves outside, trashed mattresses outside,siding outside. Very dirty.

Bed was hard, they offer no towels, toilet paper, wash cloths, roof coming off the top of the building, mold in the bathroom. Don’t stay here. They tried charging 20.00 for eye shadow getting on a sheet.

This is a budget friendly motel that seems to be under going renovations. The rooms are pretty basic, but they are large. The room was clean. The area is a little questionable but the community seems to be changing for the better. I believe they also offer weekly rental rates. The Wi-Fi isn't reachable to all rooms, but it is free if you are able to get the Wi-Fi signal in your room. I was not able to receive Wi-Fi signal, but the owner told me this before I paid for the room.

This was the worst hotel/motel that I have EVER been too. We paid $47 dollars a night to stay here. We had stayed here in the past and never had problems. This time it was the nastiest room that I have ever stayed in buy I thought it would be ok for one night. The bed was broke, and the sheets were nasty. I had to ask the people in the office to come and change the bed. The bed had looked like someone had already been laying on it while watching tv or something. Sorta scary!! We were laying in the bed around 11 oclock at night when I decided that I wanted a cigarette. I went out on the front deck to smoke, again, there was no noise what so ever coming from the room, and I was the only person upstairs on the balcony. I heard noises coming from down stairs on the outside. There was two guys fussing over drugs. One was selling drugs and the other was buying, so the drugs were being sold out of the hotel. Out of the front office and the first room beside the office. Also, while i was there the lady in room 107 was busted for drugs and running prostitution out of that room. It was a crazy night. We didn't get any rest because of the owners and the police. After going back into my room, there was a knock at the door, and the owner told me that there was to much noise coming from my room and that I had to leave. There was nothing going on in my room, the tv was not even on. I got kicked out of this HO-TEL because I saw everything that was going on and because I knew that they were running drugs from the front office. This was not right. The owner told me that I could not even have no money back, and I had to find another room at 1 oclock in the morning. It was crazy. The owner is not from the US and we need to do somethign because it's not right that they can come to this country and run a place of business like that. We need to take a stand as Americans and do something about trash like this. I would advise no one staying here, because this night 5 rooms were ran off and told to find another place to stay. It's NOT right. I turned to go back to my room to get my bags and the owner was not even going to let me get my bags. I told him that I WAS GETTING MY CLOTHES and I would be gone. The owner I guess thought that people was going to find out about him selling drugs from the hotel and made EVERYONE LEAVE. I would advise NO ONE to ever stay here again. Let them shut this hotel down. It's not worth it.

4 🌟 only because the owners are remodeling, so sorry for no pics on my behalf but I will say the owner where very comfortable people to be around and talk to so I think them for the great customer service. To be honest I've been back in the hickory are for almost a year or more and I am just now noticing this inn that happen to be a good buget helper. The room the gave me was basic but very neat and kept up and I got relax and watch some good movies and get a good night sleep... Just check it out maybe you'll get them same or if not better experience and like always I 🙏much ✌and 🖤 to all that read this post.

First of all we got here and the owner tells us a dollar per roll of toilet paper. 2 per towel each day.and the list goes on. No hot water. Large hole in the wall leaking water all over and bed bugs too the extreme. Money grubbing people who lied to us. Please choose another place if you even want to sleep. You could stay at a Hilton for the cost of everything you pay for. I'm not picky but absolutely discusting said if we wanted

Well, this flop house supports prostitution and meth heads amd cheating husbands! Last weekend my husband Panfilo Ascencio and his meth head crotch girl Tammy Greene of 704 Worth McNeil Road, Fleetwood, NIC spent the day there! If there was a way to leave 0 stars I would do so. Also, the discretion of the employees is close to nothing, which is one of the reasons was able to find out so quickly.

I called to get a weekly rate for a friend they told me they do not allow a single person that works during the week and gets their kids on the weekend to stay there and pay by the week 😲🤦🏽‍♀️
