It’s clean and an excellent value. Looks like it’s a family business from the front desk staffing. Checking in and out was quick and easy. It’s not fancy. The aesthetics are lacking, and it looks like a mishmash of clashing styles from the 80s and 90s, but it’s everything was clean with the exception of the floors being a little dusty. The blankets were thin but given the weather it was fine. Our room had a decent sized tv with lots of channels, a large mini fridge, and a microwave. Everything worked and smelled normal. I would stay there again if I came back to LA. Honestly, for the price it’s pretty great.
Honestly one of the better little motels nearby. Room was big, and clean. Hardwood floors, it wasn't all dingy and dirty like you find at other motels. The night we stayed it was calm and quiet no commotion or anything. We slept very well and were happy with our stay! The owner, Nick, is extremely nice and does a great job on maintaining his motel! We were having dinner, and we didn't have any bowls for our soup so we went to the front desk and he was kind enough to give us some disposable bowls! Very kind of him. Overall great stay, would recommend and would stay again!
Good place to stay. Fine rate for the area. Courteous staff. Spotless room. Clean and quiet. Nice features such as microwave and fridge. Solid louvers on windows shut out light during day, great for sleeping in or day sleeping. Only downside, and not the house's fault. A day care center next door. Kids kind of loud at times. I'll be glad to book here again though.
This little motel is truly a hidden gem in Lomita. The rooms are large, recently updated, and very clean. We were surprised by how comfortable the beds were. Our room also had working (and clean) fridge and microwave. Now for a few reasons for the missing star: The rooms only come with two very small towels. Nearly hand towel size to dry off a grown adult body just doesn't cut it. Not only are the towels small, they're very rough & scratchy. The free toiletries are also very limited. Shampoo and conditioner come in packets nearly the size of a wet nap packet. This place is perfect if you're looking of a cheaply priced overnight stay, just don't expect the Ritz Carlton.
This little place is a deal for the price. Quite, very clean, the staff is awesome and the parking is secure with video surveillance. I spent a week here while on a work trip. I slept great during the 100 plus degree days and the AC kept the room nice and cold. Just a half mile away is a great light shopping center with everything you might want. Thanks Royal Inn, I will bring you a plumeria next time I come.
Horrible. Tv had bad quality. There was 2 rolls of toilet paper. 1 was done. Cardboard roll just hanging. The other 1 had a few sheets left so I used the only towel in the room to whipe my ass. The sink towel there was NO shower towels in racks. I didn't call cause all this simple stuff should of been taken care of before hand. This was the worst 99 dollars I ever spent for a room. Super mad and yeah. Last resort. Try other who might have more hospitality.
i stayed at the royal inn for business and the rooms were quiet clean and very larger. staff was very friendly and helpful. rooms had all the basic things like refrigerator, microwave, ac's, flat screen tv. all for just 65 dollars.
Dirty, broken doors, pricey for the cheap quality, and lack of customer service from tight wad people. NEVER AGAIN! We were supplied with NO toilet paper, 1 set of towels, a fridge and microwave that didn't work, a bathroom with NO door! Room 207, room of dissatisfaction. Forgot to mention...no soap or shampoo offered...
Incredible spot for live music and great beers. LA needs more spots like this. We need live music!I had the best time and the pizza was FANTASTIC. Love the 86 pizza. Red amber ale was my favorite. Can't remember the exact name but it was smooth!
The cuts of meat are incredible, although small portions. I'd recommended starting with the cheaper cuts and working your way up to the Wagyu - after you've had the Japanese A5 Wagyu, the other cuts are ruined for you. I've heard people describe the
One of those places that you want to gatekeep but also want them to have a thriving business. Their pastries are made with the highest quality and served with the highest care. Everyone comes for the wonderful black sesame choux à la crème and it i
